A defensive driver never assumes a stop sign or a traffic signal will stop approaching traffic and does NOT insist on the right of way (B). Wait until the traffic clears. Oregon requires you to yield to traffic lawfully in the intersection until it is safe to turn. Obstructing traffic or entering an intersection with insufficient space is an offense *ORS § 811.290.

There is no simple answer. Some states, including California and Texas, allow U-turns across a double yellow line as long as they are safe and there are no signs prohibiting them. In New York, they are not allowed. Read more: driversprep.com/crossing-the-double-yellow-lines/

Yes, but the answer to the question about blind spots has become less likely to appear. According to the manual, you should still look over your shoulder to see if the way is clear before changing lanes - but it is not the only way in a modern car, so you will not see that type of question. To make sure you have the latest information - Check the manual and use the practice tests on the website driversprep.com/arizona/

"A" means that the divided highway ends, and there will be an undivided roadway with two-way traffic ahead. The opposite. Read this: driversprep.com/mixed-up-signs/

Quick question. One Continuous white line, cross only to avoid an accident. Two continuous white lines, do not cross under any circumstances. So if one could avoid an accident by crossing the two white lines safely one shouldn’t??? 1:44

Good question! The two important facts first: Crossing double white lines is a traffic violation, and the prohibition is there for a reason. You must not cross the lines with one important exception: When directed to do so by law enforcement. As we know, a direct order from an officer must be obeyed even if it conflicts with existing rules. What if you can avoid an accident by crossing the lines? Well, it should never be your first choice. Consider braking or steering without crossing the lines instead. If you cross the lines to avoid a crash, will you get a ticket? Probably not. But it wouldn't be good if your action caused a secondary crash worse than the potential first one. Finally, the double white lines are rarely used except to separate HOV lanes.

Warning signs are typically diamond-shaped, including the one that warns about an upcoming roundabout. Only one road sign in the USA is round (the one that indicates a railroad crossing)
