I feel like the point of the Master Trainers is that they have optimal movesets. Found this vid because Vileplume is kind of limited, I have Toxic instead of Sludge Bomb, but I'm going to Hyperbeam instead of Solarbeam

i don't think so, weavile already outspeeds nearly everything, knock off is stab and item removal. I don't remember why I put low kick but it's probably for type coverage

just got my first 50 win streak using rain team on level 41-50 (hail team for 31-40, double rock slide team for 21-30, trick room sun team for 11-20, and traditional double elec nuke team koko/xurkitree for 1-10). i'm very impressed to see ppl keeping both pelipper and mega swamper alive till the end of the battle because in my case, they usually die after trading 1 for 1 -.-!!! which is quite wierd. my swamper and pelipper got the exact same moves as shown in the video, except my pelipper holds a choice scarf to guarantee at least one hit, and got 252 speed 252 sp.attk., and swamper 100 HP 252 attk and 158 sp.def to have more bulk to survive at least 2 rounds (but still very often go down at round 1 WTF). well, in my case, blue's got intimidate dragon danse mega gyarados so my swamper's got 66% attack power which really sucks, and after 1 single dance it somehow out sped my scarf pelipper and OHKOed it... WTF... it's like the game knew i was bringing a rain team with physical sweeper so here you go, direct counters... so i'm very curious, how's your swamper and ludicolo EVs distributed ?

ugh I cant get my timing right, I always mess up either in the second or third phase that causes me to lose time for gold I know the pattern. ow just cant get the timing :(

Yeah it’s quite difficult. If I remember correctly, to get the gold, I had to learn exactly where to stand in each phase and jump to time the hits on his back. By far the hardest thing in this game.

Glad to see someone actually made a video of this... even if I am 8 months late finding it. Elf + Spirit is really good as well. And if you go any of the single unit ones, hitting 10 dwarf and piling up money for upgrades and rerolls is hella broken. Not always possible, but if you can get 10 dwarf and just power level up early and stack upgrades its very easy to clear without losing a single life. Being fast with moving units on the boss stage helps a ton. Also buying undead is great with any comp. The shield reduction even for the lowest synergy is a massive help.

A few things i wanna point out which i find intresting: 1, Mega Zam tracing drizzle is prob the 😂 of the match. I dunno if trace copies the ability of the pokemon directly across it or a random target, but that couldn't have been worse 2, Bro decided to bring 3 rock types up against a rain team 3, nice play;)
