Dont slowplay AA out of position. You get too often in awkward situation on scary board where you dont know where you stand when you play check call check call check call. Even if its a totally clean board, you could just lose value when tje opponen just checks back. We always want to have the betting lead, thats why you should 3bet most of the hands you want to play in the SB, including AA. Flat calling AA should be done here and than but if so only on the button or late position

I think you can consider checking back flop or turn at some point. It can be hard to get 3 streets of value with just an over pair on a monotone flop. Facing the turn check/raise, I think folding will be the best play versus most people as you can easily be drawing dead. As for the river, holding the ace of diamonds in your hand is great for a bluffing opportunity. Versus a lot of opponents you might not even want to have a bluffing range there though, because players usually aren't folding after taking this line.

Why would u ever wanna check JT3 mono . Why give 98 J7 K4 one diamond literally infinite hands with equity out there , turn should be a bet to charging all 9x one diamond still all JX still and easy river check back . Playin low stakes the turn is a pretty easy fold who’s find a bluff here and what bluffs do they even theres very few
@alirezaei93487 күн бұрын
@@chiefcdot9615 yes %100. Betting after flop was perfect but calling the raise on the turn was questionable but i probably would rather to call and see what happens. Thanks for your input 🙏

@@alirezaei9348 I didn't realize that this was a bounty tourney at first. I'm strictly a cash game player, but I'd imagine that the advice would still hold true. What is poker without a bit of spew here and there. That's how we learn.
@PaperPlateParody7 күн бұрын
@@chiefcdot9615 My default play would be to bet 1/4 flop, check turn, and either bluff catch river or bet myself if he checks. I could see checking flop versus some opponents to be viable against those who stab the turn too much. If they don't stab the turn, you can go 3/4 turn and 1/2 to 3/4 river for value. Without any flush draw to the board our hand is really not even that strong, seeing a turn blank helps solidify our hand a bit more. I'm not too concerned about my opponent hitting cards in this spot because equities are a bit closer and sometimes it will improve hands in our range. Betting flop and turn can be decent plays, but I would only want to do this against someone with very low aggression that calls too wide. 3 streets would only be good against the biggest of stations.

How almost every smarta*s here in the comment section trolls but fails to give constructive opinions. Smh. Anyways: Its a tough one. Preflop call is totally right. I would raise bigger on the flop. Something like 15 BB for pretection and to know where you stand + you have the added bonus that the BB with the nuts is more likely to just go all in which would give you an easy fold than before the Ace hits. Both out of position player just calling a 3bet normally rings all alarm bells (and i believe SB folded 76 after your all in). Thats the reason why you could just check behind on the river because the pot was already big enough and you leave yourself 42 BB behind. Yes you beat all the two pairs and going for value is ok aswell especially if the other two are known calling stations but against unknown players and considering the size of the pot already and the dangerous actions of the blinds i feel like checking behind on the river wouldve been the right play.
