no - this is what Nita told me: yeah my guitar was out of tune with the cold! I could have made it through with the fine tuners but my solo was next and I wanted Brian to have time to get it back to being perfect

Yes! It's on "Love It To Death" from 1971! Absolutely fantastic song! (apparently, when Alice sings the "I've Got To Get Out Of Here" lines that get faster and faster, Bob Ezin buried Cooper under a large pile of chairs to get the feeling of being trapped!) 🤔

@crossfire8022 It's always been played with an electric guitar. I don't know what you have been listening to in the last 36 years, but "The Flame" has never been acoustic, ever. Timing is definitely a bit off though.

@@crossfire8021That's how it's always played. I've been to dozens of Cheap Tricks concerts and Rick Nielsen always plays electric guitar on this song. It's Rick's son Dax on drums who's to fast. It was so much better when Bun. E. Carlos was playing drums.💯%

Perhaps it's time to retire this song. I'm a Cheap Trick fan and Robin Zander's voice was the best. Ever. There are very, very few people who can do anything as well as they did over thirty years ago.
