Does robbing behavior happen when the hives are left open like this? I read the bees can become very agitated when this happens.

when you go in the center-ish to scoop them, do you ever accidentally squish them? you go in so quickly it doesnt look like you navigate where to start and i wonder if you directly press on any of them before scooping

I once saved a bee while in gym class since we were outside in October and I was having bad cramps I was sitting on the grass and since it was cold out a bee fell down and I took my gloves off so it wouldn’t get stuck to it and offered my hand so I put it out in front of the bee and pulled it back then back to the bed to show it I wasn’t a threat and it climbed up my hand walked around it a little bit and then once it warmed up it flew away

I mean with an abundance of food I don’t see the point of fighting over it.
