As for the retrograde motion we'll here's a few things you need to know the universe is not infinite it has borders and it rotates around it's axis while also revolving around it's center which is the earth and just like the universe even ((everything the biggest thing)) has it's center it's called ((the center of everything the smallest things the earth is the center of the universe but not the center of everything the planets orbit around the earth and earth orbits around the center of everything and while doing so it drags the other planets with it so basically the solar system is a vortex the orbitsare called epistles however the earth orbits around the center of everything faster than the planets orbit earth this is why earth can pass by a planet like mars in it's orbit and it will appear to move backwards just like when you pass a car on the highway and it will appear to you to be moving backwards due to it's slower velocity .
