Thank u, yr eminence. There is a constant battle going on between our spirituality n our physicality. The late Pope Benedict16 summed it up very well. ‘Our outer selves are decaying, wasting away everyday but our inner selves is constantly being renewed by the Holy Spirit. It is as though we are being reborn, regenerated through the power of his resurrection’ ( Pope Benedict16).

Is so amazing. This homily is dated 2017. Today on 27/12/24, I happen to watch this homily for the first time, what Cardinal Father William Goh said is as though talking to me. I have left the Catholic faith for 38 years. Many of the reasons are actually what he has mentioned. Since 2017, I have returned to church faithfully and am so blessed to have Jesus in my life. One of the main reasons is I have been listening to His Grace ‘s homilies for the past 4 years and have since learnt so much from him. Father Goh, you are truly my mentor in faith. Thank you so much for giving me the courage to repent and to be loved and accepted by God and the community. I wish you good health and abundant blessings from our Lord.

Do not use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh but use it to serve one another through love’ ( Gal).

Thank u yr Eminence. Lovely homily (Rom). ‘ All I want to know is Christ n the power of his resurrection, to share in his suffering by reproducing the pattern of his death ( Rom). St. Stephen is an inspiration n a wonderful role model because he truly emulated the life of Christ. His proclamation of Christ is indeed so powerful n overwhelming that through of his matyrdom n we the audience who witness his death through the Acts of the Apostles can only marvel at his immense love of our blessed saviour.

Cardinal Goh's homilies are clearly explained. I have always enjoyed and learned much to walk the faith. Clearly God has His ways to move us. Faith and Hope and Love. Thank you Cardinal Goh.
