Father Luke, I heard that you love 💖 running 💨🎽. But because of your osteonecrosis that restricted you from running 💨🎽. I, myself also love running 💨😘💕, because of my meniscus tear on my both of my knees, I can't run, I still exercise, I used the walker in the gym, I do push 🫷 ups. Maybe walker could be another alternative for you to exercise. This is my sharing with you 😉😊

On honest reflection, we should find that most of our toxic stress come from our impatience and false pride. Being "humble and gentle of heart" in Christ indeed should make the "yoke and burden" of our daily tasks and duties, and the ups and downs of our daily living "easy and light". * "At bottom, every psychological problem is a spiritual problem." (Carl Jung, Analytical Psychologist)

Wow spot on for the part of people who left the church due to church politics. This is real in the Singapore community. Those who wants to play politics in Church and affect others, the local Parish should investigate this and not simply brush away. It is affecting other people spiritually and mentally and not good for the community.

I am sorry that other Christians believe that Christ was never present. Didn't He say 'It is finished' ?

Amen. Unconditional love of God also doesn't mean unconditional entry into heaven. Two different things. The merciful father in the Parable of the Prodigal Son never ceased loving his son for a single moment, but the salvation of the prodigal son hinged ("conditional") upon his own free will to repent, return to his father and turn from his old ways. The entire journey of faith of every Christian is really about aligning himself/herself to God. God is steadfast and does not change (Thank God!). If He does change, we are seriously in big trouble.

Very useful. If I understand correctly, the pope does not change that Jesus Christ is our Lord and high priest. Worship the Lord our God in Spirit and Truth. It would help if the questions are posed to help strengthen and increase understanding of our faith. It's a bit confusing when questions of personal curiosity is posed.

Thanks deacon Clarence for clarifying..that one should discern what is infallibility even from what the honorable Pope say as even the Pope as a person is not without sin , and may make mistakes . I like your emphasis that the discern of truth and error should be referring to already established church teaching . Since the Canon the Bible is already written and closed by 1st century .. Then Any other doctrine should be discern from the Bible. And if there is anything extra Biblical we should consider as not infallible, even it’s from the Pope. This makes our faith so much more clear and simple and less susceptible to the weakness and error of interpretation by man , even our human leaders. We can also be confident by the 3rd century Nicene creed , that summarizes the apostolic biblical doctrine should be the foundation of examining all other doctrines. With the Bible as foundation we can then examine all teaching and doctrines , even the pope ex cathedra doctrines from the Pope or councils. Very good point that you make that Pope Francis statements are not infallible if we doubt the agreement with the Bible . Just discern from the Bible make it so clear and simple for my faith .. Certainly I agree with you we should have the attitude of the noble Bereans in Acts 17 who examine theOT Scriptures when Paul presented them the gospel . God bless .

Heresies are not always associated with something immorally bad. (Eg a heretic Christian can outwardly reject the doctrine & theology relating to any one of the sacraments, but he can still strive to live a good and honest life according to his own conscience) As long as it deviates from the official teaching of the Church, it is a heresy.

Because Matthew 16:19 the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Meaning the Church will ALWAYS be on earth. thats 1. number 2, Matthias was appointed to TAKE OVER from Judas, it shows that it is an OFFICE.
