What up, my Brutha!! Howzit! You guys seem to grow a lot of nice plants that are edible. I'm starting to learn about plants in the Pacific NW for Bushcrafting. So, I like checking out your vids.

Wow that's a lot of plants to manage. It looks great. We have a tiny version so we understand the work that goes into that. Great job!

I just have the Book of Adams, a bit from Jann showing our roots from Harold Bluetooth, and I did the whole Ancestry.com dill. I can send you the stuff from Jann and my link to the ancestry site if you want. I know mom has a couple books showing her side, but I didn't want to borrow them with all the moving around I do. Send me your email to [email protected] and I'll give you what I've got.

I've been thinking about this for a while. How do you get your material to site? You canoe it all a piece at a time? LOL....friggin HULK!
@pauladams9050 Жыл бұрын
Thats funny. I buy just enough building material at a time that will fit in my boat. When I get to the property I crawl out the bow and hold the boat steady while I position the wood or whatever it happens to be. Then make a mad dash with the material and drop it on the rocks and run back to the boat so it doesn't float away. haha. I've had some close calls in bad weather. That's why I love my boat. It's light enough to maneuver from shore and holds quite a bit of weight.

As clarification for those outside of Alaska, this is NOT “sport fishing”. This is “snagging”. This guy is using the snagging technique known as “flossing” - the line gets stuck in the fish’ mouth and a weight pulls the hook to the fish. We legally use this technique to harvest sockeye salmon which do not feed once they enter freshwater. It is not legal to use this technique on any other salmon species, but because so few do it F&G doesn’t spend time enforcing it.
@duckwacker8720 Жыл бұрын
Flossing isn't snagging.
@AKMan-m4k Жыл бұрын
@@duckwacker8720 Flossing is a snagging technique. Even F&G regs consider it as snagging. There’s no “strike” as in sport fishing.
