More power to the UC Dance Company. I wonder if it's the same folkloric troupe helmed by Dancemaster Ceasar Nimor. I remember his troupe touring the whole Philippines in the 1980's, captivating audiences in large venues and campuses throughout the whole country. The troupe was world-class even then. The dancers were tireless, dancing right away from their tour buses (they had several shows a day during each outreach tour). I hope that international recognition will be the troupe's just reward for all its commitment and dedication to showcasing well-researched folk dances and rituals.
