*I just finished watching the Jessica Jones series. I liked Krysten Ritter´s performance so much that I looked for more information about her. I found out that he is also a singer, and how well he sings and plays the guitar! This woman is fantastic.*

Once again this song "Never Lonely" has no official video so I again defer to the Heleen2010 uploaded video and a shout out to you. I particularly liked the family picture of Jessica's clan. I saw her Grade 11 yearbook photo on a TV interview and this is very much what she looked like in that photo so she is probably 16 (or very close to it) here. Your family photo clip of her is probably from close to the time she wrote this music. The song itself is lovely, haunting number. Still can't get over the fact that a 16 year old wrote something like this. Not to belittle teenagers but this song is just so mature. Her vocal performance is very emotional as well. You can feel her pain in this song. Just incredible.

Once again my thanks to Heleen2010 for the upload. I am using it in my playlist as this song has no official video. This is another hard edged rocker from Jessica's TBT EP and written in 2005. Obviously another break up song. How she can get from "Goodbye" to this song and "Fly Away" still amazes me. Such style range which she also demonstrates in her more recent work. But she wrote the TBT songs when she was 16... amazing.

I need to pay closer attention to what Jessica Lowndes is saying in her interviews or her posts on KZbin. It turns out she wrote the entire TBT (Throw Back Thursday as in the Instagram phenomenon) EP in the summer of 2005, all four songs. She wrote incredible songs as a 16 year old teenager. Goodbye, Break, Never Lonely, and this song "Fly Away" were all written in the summer of 2005, three years before she began her 90210 career. "Fly Away" showed up on 90210 in October, 2008 during the series' first season. These songs weren't actually released as singles until February, 2013. This was when Jessica Lowndes got her Instagram account and so she decided to release one of these songs on each Thursday of February, 2013 and the TBT EP was released in March, 2013. "Fly Away" was the first of these songs to be released on February 6, 2013. This song is a hard edged rock number. There is no official video for this song so I used this reasonably well done unofficial video in my playlist. My thanks to Heleen2010, I've shown your work elsewhere in this playlist as well. The video is a slideshow of screenshots which gives us a perspective of the early Adrianna Tate-Duncan (Jessica Lowndes) in 90210. Rock on Adrianna!

This is a non-official video featuring Jessica Lowndes' song "Goodbye". This video was released in February, 2009 which was about half way through the first season of 90210. As there was no official video made for this song (none that I could find anyway) I included this in my playlist. All it includes is a slideshow series of screenshots of Jessica Lowndes' character in 90210 which was Adrianna Tate-Duncan. The slideshow is set to Jessica Lowndes' song "Goodbye". It's not much but it may give a taste of nostalgia to 90210'ers and for those of you who are not familiar with 90210 this little video will show you what the 19 year old Jessica Lowndes looked like in her role. Even in these stills you can see the camera loved her. She took what was to be a 2 to 4 episode bit part and grew it into a starring role for the entire series. She certainly had the most dramatic role in the two episode series finale.

it's been almost 9 years now ever since I've seen this video in my initial days of a continuous internet and KZbin videos and I am still in love with her, and the song. New ol' subscriber btw

I think many are expecting some Katy Perry, or Beyonce type of canned bubble gum Pop that has permeated our airwaves, convincing the masses that they have been listening to great music. Not that those singers aren’t extremely talented, and have exceptionally beautiful voices, but Krysten is doing her own thing, clearly singing with her soul, and it comes through vividly in the music. Listen to her other songs. The melody goes where you don’t expect it to go, and like life, it lingers, dips, fades, transgresses, and twists into quite an enjoyable, folksy piece of music. Her music might be well suited to a movie soundtrack.

It's not so bad...just listen to it carefully...there's something about this song and I feel for it...
