Bought a brand new set of vernier calipers, 1m in length so that production could measure Ovality. Calibrated them and left them on the required production line with the clear instruction only to be used by line operative. Came into work next day to find them snapped in half, checked security video to find they were being used as a hockey stick. £1500 to get a couple of hours use. I wish i could say the clown was sacked but no

The CE marks on the milwaukee and the stanley powerlock are Conformité Européenne marks, wheras the one you showed close up is the China Exports mark, which means nothing The way to tell them apart is that in China Exports, if you complete the circle of the C it will overlap the E in its middle line, wheras the European mark, which has a bigger gap, hits it on the curve You can look it up for example images

“Knypek” is a playful Polish word for a runt or a small person. Great marketing :)

A serrated edge vs a flat edge is not apple to apples lmao. Take those knipex vs a flat jaw adjustable and the results will be better for the adjustable bc you just have the one handle and you can put a cheater bar on it for better leverage

Quite simply they are the world’s best pliers, bar none. Nobody makes a better plier. I have knipex pliers, cutters and snips. I regret buying none of them and not found a better performing brand? Willing to be proved wrong but it’s where my own money is at!
@Crushwokery7 сағат бұрын
Undoubtedly the best. However, turn the water pumps upside down and like the Knipex only one leg needs force on them to grip and grip well.

I think carrying a set of pliers in your pocket is the dumbest fucking shit. There’s no reason to do it. You can easily keep a tool bag with all of your tools in it in your car.

You'll think they are the bee's knees until you put some torque on them and they break. Sticking with tongue and groove.

I was skeptical when I first saw these, but I've got pliers wrench, cobra, and twin grips. Knipex is on top of the pliers market.

What kind channel locks do you have that only open up 35 degrees. My problem with them is if one slips out of my hand I have to use my other hand to close it. Nearly 180 degrees of travel. In fact I’ve literally never seen a pair of channel locks open up that little. Your either lying or got the one pair in the world that does that. In fact under further review you showed the standard pair opening farther than that.

I’ve had the original nickel plated ones since 80’s ..still have it and it works as new..own one crescent wrench of similar size and it has 3% use compared to the Knipex…97%…have bought one for a good Freind that owned a mechanical welding shop and he swears by it..if it’s one tool to carry in a truck this is it..very expensive but it’ll last u a lifetime !!!

I own a pair of these. I have abused them for years. They are the most used tool I own. Ajusting them is a little cumbsesome, but it's solid. They are excellent as a quick sheet metal or wire straightener, not just pliers.
