What about the problem of washability? I have many problems with color vibrancy and image “breaking” after a few washes (2-3). How can I make the print stay?

Does this work on dark heavy cotton shirts?

Hi! Our Ghost pretreatment is designed for light to medium colored garments. For dark garments we would recommend our Nova pretreatment!

We do t have ovens just heat presses. How does it handle that. Heat presses always seem to be harsh on the pretreatment. Temp and pressure recommendations for that

Very nice I’m interested in this pre treat Gonna look in to buy it to test it out for my self My question is do you guys have on the website the amount of grams used and stuff ? Because I would like to take a look at that to get started and test things out
@Firebirdink-DTG9 ай бұрын
Hi! On our site we currently have a pretreatment Matrix for our Nova and our Gen3 pretreatment which describes the recommended grams for each shirt style. We are currently working on our Ghost Matrix, and it should be up very soon. In the meantime, can you let us know which shirt styles you are using, and we will reply back with recommendations. Thank you!

I was so excited when I switched to FBX 100 universal pretreat and finally could print on Dark Heather Gray without getting a DTG box. But when the customer washed and dried it for the first time, the box appeared 😭 Was it the heat from the dryer that did this? Is there a way to avoid that?

Hi Heather! I'm so sorry you are facing box issues. Please contact us at contact [email protected] or 203-306-2988, and we will work to get this solved ASAP! :)

Whats the paper you put down between the shirt and the press?
@Firebirdink-DTG Жыл бұрын
Hi Lauren, we recommend Kraft or Parchment Paper to reduce crystallization. Here is a link to our suggested product: www.firebirdink.com/collections/dtg-accessories/products/silicone-treated-parchment-paper

Thanks for the knowledge Question though, the firebird pretreat, can it be used with a Ricoh Ri 1000, 2000? and also I saw a guy use it for both dark and light: would you recommend that
@Firebirdink-DTG Жыл бұрын
Hi Yusef, you can use any of our Universal formulas with Ricoh machines. Our FBX-NOVA works particularly well on challenging garments, so we highly recommend! While you can find success with our universal formulas on dark and light garments, we would suggest using our FBX-VIVID formula for lighter garments.

@Gobinder Singh FIP can save DTG business owners time and money by making it easy to print across the entire garment, it allows for a faster rate of production, reduces the risk for errors/wasted pretreat, and increases ease with styles that are difficult to spray. It is definitely for DTG shops with production goals.

hello i have a question about crystallization. These are my steps when adding pretreat to my AAA 1301 shirts. First off i i have a lawson digi dry box dryer & a heat press that i use and these are my steps. 1. i Lint roll the shirt & then Heat press the shirt to flatten fibers 2. i Pretreat the shirt 3. i then Dry the shirt with the lawson digi dry box 4. then i Heat press the shirt again to flatten the fibers & after this 4th step before i print the shirt i keep getting crystallization. I was thinking it was probably because i do Step 1. which is pressing down the fibers and maybe its not allowing the pretreat to soak into the shirt since all of its fibers are flatten down? Do you recommend i get rid of the 1st step & just link roll before pretreating instead? thank you for your time!

Hi there, may i know why when DTG a black tee there's like visible white mark of the shape my heat press( example my heat press is square, there will be square edge on it) even after i wash. And on top also there like flaky of the cotton fabric sticking out at the area where the pretreatment was spray on to the tee even wash it couple of times. It doesn't look like a new tee, where you have soft and clean look. Is there any solution to that? I am using Gildan Premium Cotton T-shirt to print. Thank you
