Big Comment to answer your big Questions: 1. Making progress slowly is fine because everything can be acquired some time in the future. 2. You could have gone mining and got the community centre on the 5th, but you didn't trigger either cutscene that day. 3. Yes, Stardew Valley has magic. 4. You can put the chest outside, you just can't place it really far from where you are standing. 5. You can't get the Eel because you can only get Eel from 4pm on a rainy day at the Ocean. 6. Harvey works in the clinic so you'll find him there, Sebastian stands my the lake at night time I believe. Advice Alley: 1. JojaMart is more expensive than Pierre's for some reason (nevermind, you found out later)

All the seeds you're buying from Jojamart, you can buy cheaper from Pierre. However, keep in mind he's closed on Wednesdays. You might want to keep some of your vegetables, especially carrots, for energy instead of selling them all. Carrots give much higher energy than most other forage or early crops, and don't sell for a whole lot. If you want money right away, you can also sell crops and forage directly to Pierre and other items directly to various other merchants. You will get more wood by breaking up the stumps after you chop down a tree. And yes you can plant tree seeds to grow trees, or make field snacks out of them for energy. Make a chest to keep some resources instead of selling them all. You will need some of virtually everything you find. You can get coal randomly by breaking stones anywhere, not just in the mines. Looking into all the sections of your menu and at the journal (under the exclamation mark on the upper right) will give you a lot of information about your current level in various skills, who you know and your friendship level with them, craftable items, etc.

The one early game tip I wish I had sooner is about each season’s foragable items. You need to save one of each for a special quest, but after you do that, you will make more money if you combine one of each kind into a pack of seasonal seeds and sell the seeds instead of selling each individual foragable as you get them

I recommend opening the options (from your inventory) and turning on "always show tool hit location". It's the only reliable way to tell where your tool will land. I also highly encourage you to hold your scythe if you're not using another tool at the moment. The scythe doesn't take up energy to use and does not destroy your crops if you misclick. An axe or pickaxe will. Keeping one of everything you find or harvest will probably come in handy. Read item descriptions. They can actually tell you a lot. For example, on seeds, it will tell you how long the seed needs to grow. This becomes important later in the season because plants generally only grow in one season and if you plant them too late, they won't get ready before the change of seasons kills them. On your farm, there are weeds and grass. You can tell them apart by trying to walk through them. Weeds take up one tile and you can't walk through them. Those, you can destroy without worry. The grass, you should leave alone in at least one spot for now. The mildest of spoilers ahead (nothing about the story, only mechanics): If you can, save up some money before the 13th. There will be a useful item on sale that day that is generally regarded as something you want to get. I can go into more detail if you want, just wanna keep this mostly spoiler free. Fishing will become relevant pretty soon but it is very hard at first so if you try it and can't figure it out, I have a few tips for you: 1) take your time with the tutorial on the first fish you catch. It is the only fish you literally cannot fail to catch so you have time to get the hang of things, read the tutorial, etc. 2) buy the training rod from Willy. It is very cheap and it makes things a lot easier. From there, you can level up more easily, which will also make the minigame easier, until you don't need the training rod anymore. 3) don't hold the button or mouse button to control the bar (you'll know what I mean when you see it), tap it repeatedly. At least that works best for me.

If you get 50 wood you can craft chests and they give you more space. And you can buy food and seeds from Pierre's shop. I'm also pretty sure the community centre only opens on day 5 and the mines soon after that, also the mines are up at the top of the map, near the guy who lives in a tent.
@biancacrafford30008 күн бұрын
This was really fun to watch, reminded me of my first time playing. I only have a few tips but the most important one is to save at least one of everything you collect, usually it will become more important later. Also check the time it takes to grow plants because when it becomes the next season your plants will die. Have fun playing 😊 can't wait to watch more.

@@JustintheConqueror it's not the end of the world but they are crafting materials you can never have too much of. I recommend opening the crafting tab in your inventory and making a chest to store them and other things. (They're also just not worth very much. There are much better ways to make money. If you want, I can expand on those, but I'll keep things spoiler free for now.)

Big Comment to answer your Big Quesions Part Two Electric Boogaloo: 1. I'd say you do this series however you want, but I'd say that the way this video is, is better than the first one but if you want to play more days in one episode then that's fine too. 2. You asked how to check your energy, while you were checking your energy. 3. 4:54, I'm not going to answer this because it's something I'd prefer to get your reaction to 4. You can be friends with people by gifting them things they either like or love. 5. For worms. you need to use your hoe. 6. For house upgrades, you go to the carpenters in the north (it's expensive) 7. You'll love the sewer, but that's quite a late game thing. 8. Every character has a unique routine that you can technically learn, but the best way is to know where they like to hang out and go looking for them. 9. You can't plant the horseradish, but you'll be able to craft them into seeds later down the line. 10. Sap is used in crafting recipes. 11. If you want more energy, eat. You don't have to buy from the Saloon for food, you can forage stuff and eat that, or even when you have regular crops you can eat those. 12. You'd be most likely to get Red Mushrooms in the mines, but you don't unlock those until day 5. 13. The music does seem to be quite spaced out, but usually you'll find it playing a track when the trigger for the track happens (like entering a specific area or stuff) and that plays until it's finished then waits for the next trigger. I don't know though, I'm not Eric Barone (pronounced like Baloney but the L is an R), the sole game developer. 14. That weird sound effect was your stomach probably. No idea what the second weird sound was though. 15. The game being tilebased means that precise decor placements isn't possible without mods, sorry. Advice Alley: 1. The fishing will eventually become easier. Also, I think you might have been spam clicking for the fishing minigame, you hold the mouse button down and then feather it enough to have the fish behind the bar. 2. In the settings, there's an option called something like "Show tool hit location", if you have that on, you might not click on the wrong tile as often. 3. The end goal of this game is something called "Perfection", do you think you'd end up playing this game all the way to the end? Not an advice, but just a heads up that there's actually an end goal of this game. 4. A question I have for you is how likely it is that you'd plan to use the wiki at some point? You can definitely get perfection without the wiki (this isn't Hello Neighbour), but just a consideration. You could even do what I do and only use the wiki whenever you are in the Library building in game. 'twas a banger video of course

If I had any tips is buy sprinklers, mine immediately, and plan ahead what you wanna do each day and always check the tv for the wether, and try your best to make relationships with everyone. This all is what I’ve realized while playing.

Big Comment to answer all your big questions (I'll never spoil anything, but I will be answering any questions you may have as after all, I kinda made you play my favourite game): 1. Yes the Stardew Valley soundtrack is technically protected under copyright, but Eric lets people play with the music on in their videos. 2. I don't think you can rotate things without mods, but also not sure why you'd ever need to 3. Using a pickaxe on the tilled soil brings it back to normal. 4. Yes, you did just kill worms you horrible person /j 5. Yes, there is Christmas 6. You don't kill the butterflies 7. That is the Church and Altar of Yoba (ok you found that out) 8. Your assessment of Mr. Morris is 100% correct My Starter Advice: 1. Do whatever you want. (Most Important) 2. You do have a bedtime, and it is 2am, so you were lucky you didn't pass out. 3. STAY AWAY FROM ELLIOTT, HE IS MY HUSBAND NOT YOURS 4. Make sure to water crops each day 5. Keep an eye on your energy bar
