Its a great tool BUT !!! you do need to modifiy the rim clamps because on a heavy ply tire it doesnt stay clamped to the wheel. I used square channel with a alllthread and nuts that unscrew and they worked great. Like i said great tool but with a heavy ply tire the tool will pop off the rim

Just got one of these on the truck.I can't wait to try it out.I saw in another video that it should handle anything up to a 29.5 R 25,will update when I know more.Seems to me,the less I swing a chopper the longer I'll survive in this field.

I used to have a hell of a time with some loader tires when I had a bunch of dairy accounts. I would have purchased this tool in a heartbeat. Sadly all of the dairy's were bought out and now we have tract homes being built in their place.

my hatred was grader or road roller tyres, its 20 years since ive worked as a tyre fitter and they still give me bad memories, ididnt mind loaders,i worked for bridgestone and had a proper tyre handler on the truck, could strip and fit a loader in 90 mins for all 4

yes,i realized how lucky i was. i lived in darwin in australia,i had to cover all of the northern territory,NWqueensland and NE western australia as it was the only truck with a handler,my truck and i were very popular.have a look of a map of australia and youl see how much area i had to cover,i drive interstate trucks now as i prefer wearing tyres out than changing them

He said tool is good for 17.5-25 to 20.5-25. If you need this tool to do a 17.5 or 20.5-25, you need to quit your job. Those are easiest tires that even grandma do it using bear hands and tire irons. Now push a bead on 29.5R-25 (Brand new tire)or bigger so we can see this tool really worth buying.

Piyush Dixit - The General Sherman like all mature sequoias simply got lucky. It avoided fire over the course of its life time. More than likely the Sherman has lived through some where between 120 and 150 fires over the course of its lifetime so far to this point. The biggest point in which it avoided fire was in the first 30 to 50 years of its life. A fire does not act as a tidal wave washing over everything. Inside a fire pockets will be missed. All mature sequoias got lucky in the first 30 to 50 years of their lives and missed fires. As such they grew stronger and were able to grow to a point to then be strong enough to survive a direct impact from a fire in the future.

I built one similar to that over 10 years ago. I'm now medically retired from the work. Mine was different in that I had guide claps for the outer ring so it would not slip and it was powered by my 3/4 drive impact gun. The hand crank is nice but impact is much faster. I had a specially made socket just for that set up. It was about a 6" deep impact socket and it worked on everything, including the 35/65R33 & 37.5R39 Loved having that with me on those types of jobs. I'm a 25+year tire veteran.

The o ring is used as a seal between the steel compression spring and rim assembly making the tire a tubeless assembly.....they are a great idea versus inserting and maintaining a tube.

Very good presentation. However, 2000 years back the General Sherman won't be as big as it is now so the logic that the lesser trees got burnt the General Sherman continued to grow does not seem very convincing.
