What about the shark encounter at SeaWorld San Diego. There’s some sharks from this video but there was one I couldn’t identify it was just too fast for me to take a picture.

such a great video. thank you so much. convinced my dad he wants to go now. We visit Santa Cruz every few weeks and Ive been reminding him how much we need to go to Monterey to see this. He watches nature shows constantly but wasn't feeling the aquarium. this video changed that. If it wasn't for the extra long drive. we'd be heading there sooner rather than later! Its on the to do list for our next trip over though.

It’s an excellent aquarium, and it’s really cool that they have so many fresh water species.

Once again, I visited the Bronx Zoo in October 2019 & experienced some of this. Especially the Congo Gorilla Forest.

I must say you are doing a fabulous job covering zoos across USA. I have a suggestion. If you happen to visit Singapore , please do a virtual tour of Singapore night safari .

My last trip to Busch Gardens was a few years ago. It was in November so perfect weather. Weekday tickets were a bargain at $50.00. My favorite area was Bird Gardens. It's so quiet and peaceful. I loved petting the kangaroos. My only complaint was that most of the shows were not running that day. Also, many rides were closed for maintenance.

Wow, this is a very unusual exhibit. The aesthetic reminds me a little of stylized architecture from the 1960s. I've only ever been to the Indianapolis Zoo when it opened in 1988. I think the Culture Center part used to be the building that housed a domestic animal exhibit featuring characters from the new-at-the-time Jim Davis comic strip "U.S. Acres" (starring Orson the Pig, and featured on the Garfield and Friends animated series---you could even meet an Orson mascot character here). The overhead trails are interesting, though my first thought was to question if the chimpanzees will throw their feces at human zoo visitors. It is pretty neat that the chimpanzees get so much room to explore.

As a SoCal resident, I'd add on the recommendation that in making your decision of Safaripark or SDZoo... consider what animals are on your bucket list. Between the two, the diversity lineup is immense, but specific animals are in specific locations, and that definitely can change your perspective of where to go. I love both, equally, but as I'm a huge fan of platypus and marsupials, I kindof lean more towards the safaripark. But there are also things at the zoo that I just can't get anywhere else, so it's a win either way.

Did you know that there's also a classroom above the area with the red river hogs, wolf monkeys and hornbills? I went to Bronx Zoo Camp when I was younger and what an amazing experience it was. The viewing panels from those exhibits continues on above to the classroom where you can see the animals up close. Even got to spend the night in what is now the Madagascar exhibit
