I wish those single wheel suspension bicycle trailers weren't so expensive....The suspension is supposed to really help at higher speeds....The $250 -ish 53cc 4 stroke motor kit would get well over 100 mpgs around 150 with pedal assist & a big high gear ⚙️. If u had the one single wheel trailer I seen, that's longer with an added rack for triple bag storage. You could bring more creature comforts. The 53cc will have trouble on big steep hills though. Might have to walk while giving the throttle a little gas.

If I was unsick & can do some bike packing...I think the 53cc 4 stroke kit would be the best option overall. Or if possible a gas electric hybrid bike but would be very expensive....As long as you have the chain aligned & the rear sprocket straight/no wobble..You can cruise 30mph & get 100+mpgs. With an engine that isn't very loud.... It's light enough to pick up & put in a car trunk or truck bed. If you get sick of riding you could always pretend to be broke down or outta gas ⛽ & try to hitch a ride. I'm working on building a strong reinforced stealth motorized bicycle that can safely cruise at 55mph. But doesn't look that fast. No license, insurance, registration, plus 90mpgs will pay itself. I can't afford registration, insurance, gas ,maintenance for a car 🚗 on a fixed income. Unless it was an RV big enough to live in full time. But I couldn't travel far at 8 mpgs. So I'd still need a cheap $200 motorized bike to travel long distances.

@nevertoopoortotour.3033 A little 53cc 4 stroke bike kit. Only takes some minor engine know how to keep running. A 79cc 3hp is also nice but louder.. Jarrod D made a super simple rear wheel friction drive 79cc & rode from FL to CA & back. With parts you can find at any Home Depot or Lowe's...There are some random little issues with the kits sold. Like cheap mounting studs & 🔩 nuts for the gas tank......I fixed em by using strong VHB 2 sided tape between the bottom of the gas tank & bike frame top tube. So I didn't have to strip the tiny threads out. By over-tightening it so it wouldn't slide around. I also reinforced the threaded tank studs with JB weld before installing..... It would be cool if there was a big bike packing community. That kept in contact via social media. Where riders could team up & ride together. For either for a full trip or partial trips &/or meetup with different riders for different parts of their journey. A bike packing travel party 🥳 🎉 lol. Sorta like how some hobos used to do even before the Internet. I seen some would gather down south in New Orleans in winter. Then would fragment into groups & go all over up north in summer. It's kind of my bucket 🪣 list to check out places like grand canyon, devil's tower, Niagara falls.,etc... If I wasn't sick right now I'd get metal detector & search my area along the Mississippi river.....I seen some abandoned rusty barge cables with giant turnbuckles & clamps that sell for $20 & $30 new. I was gonna throw em in vinegar rust remover & see if I could sell em online for $10 or $15.... There's probably $150 worth. Just laying around in my hick town that people don't realize is worth anything. If I mentioned it to anyone in town. They'd all be gone tomorrow 😂
