Just want to point out that every single game you suggested in the "story category" are Male protagonist only games. Exclusion for us(while somewhat understandable as most of us have lives lol) Is still not acceptable. Its ironic that when gaming first kicked off(and their was even less women playing) a female option was more common lmao. Just salty that boy's and men are so much more catered too is all. You'd think with a average 300 million dollar budget they could fit in or make playable women more of a thing, its even crazier when you take into account the men which like playing as women lol. Industry sucks.

It tells you in the description that if you change to story teller mode it won't let you change it again.

It says something that the overall response to GTA 6 finally being revealed is "Eh, could be neat" at best and "Oh no" at worst. GTA Online has been that much of a reputation breaker.

This is the GOTY.... But Wukong is the favorite. I really abandon the event forever, if The other garbage candidate wins.

8/10 10/10 music 8/10 battle system (archetype system + gearing + turn system) i do like how items are relevant 7/10 storytelling 9/10 premise 9/10 social links Spoilers maybe Story fell flat during the mid part plot twist with the unresolved "we killed an innocent (relatively) guy, but its ok since he's alive anyway". MC lacked identity especially after merge. Deus Ex'd the crushed heart revival. Anxiety based but despite all odds, MC lacked anxiety the most or, never overcame any to provide char development, not even Gallica as a stand in. Overall, amazing premise, world building (even closurei stance/mudra represents repression of anxiety), narrative, just really fell flat with a few story telling elements. GOTY probably if other games arent as good.

Loved this game. Absolutely loved the fact that you could get the heroes leaves by using a maxed archetype. The fact that you can use those to level up other archetypes made it way less stressful than most games with a class system. I never felt that i waa wasting class xp by not swapping out maxed archetypes

So far I've been enjoying the game! I'm only like 10hrs in but just exploring reading as much as i can about this world has been great. I can't wait to add this game to old persona 3 portable rotation. 😊

LA Noire is not a Rockstar game. It was developed by Team Bondi and funded by Sony. Rockstar replaced sony as publisher towards the end of the dev cycle. Max Payne 1 & 2 are also not Rockstar games, they are Remedy Games.

i think the main thing that sets GTA (and rdr as well) apart from other games is just how realised and life like the worlds are. no other game achieves the levels of immersion

Issue with shadows isn't the characters color it's that they literally changed their story to pander to blm and made a character that was never a samurai into a samurai and claimed that he always was one. Furthermore most of the infrastructure in the game is incorrect and they've used Chinese buildings to cut corners, they don't understand how seasons work, they've hired Dei consultants for translation who made the wrong translations, etc the issues are better explained in endymion's channel. Don't get me started on the hip hop music they played in the background (yes it's 🔥 but racist af).

Have to disagree. Im a black person myself. I`d be pissed if they finally made a game about black people fighting for their freedom but you are forced to play as a white dude, because there was this one guy back in the day that might have helped some slaves out. What i'm saying is: If the shoe where on the other food you'd be outraged. Same goes "wokeness" in game. Here is issue: Doing DEI is fine, but it shouldnt be a checklist that needs to cover EVERYTHING all the time just for the sake of meeting standards. Instead of coming up with a great story first, they come up with all the DEI they want present in the game and then design a character arcs and gameplay features around that. Most players just want cool looking characters they can identify with. Thats it. Including playable non-white characters is absolutly what i want. But look at games like Dustborn. The Cast is a black pregnant BI person, a non binary plus size girl muslim girl with anxiety, a "gaslighting" lesbian and a mexican cis dude (he is the only one without powers and gets bullied the whole game). Gameplay is "the power of words" where the player has the ability to "cancel" or "trigger". The game has a peak of 78 players. Concord failed due to several issues. DEI is certainly not the main issue but a contributing factor. If the marketing of a game is this focused on esthetics you better be sure to have appealing characters. Very few wants to play as a fat chick, or the edgy overconfident trans person, the lesbian, the fish dude (who is the only "white" male character without beeing white), the E-Girl etc. The truth is 80+% of this type of games are cis Hetero white dudes. If you are making a AAA 200M+ game, you better have something in to appeal to that demographic.

"All it takes is a quick google search" - To find articles that all point back to the same book that uses the author of said book as its references. Meanwhile, according to any primary sources about him we know that he: -Existed -Served under Nobunaga in some fashion. -Was of African descent. I like his idea as a character in most things. But I'll scoff at his inclusion in a historically-inspired movie or game the same way I scoff at mythical creatures in the previous games.

I just beat Prince of Persia Sands of Time for the first time in 20 years on ps2. What a masterpiece, I forgot how much gaming was awesome in my teens. Next is my first ongoing playthrough of DMC (first one), and a bit of SMT Nocturne mixed in.
