I don't think it's just a simple CoT. In the technical documentation, they mention that there is a part of the technology they won't disclose. The original Q* papers discuss a second model, some kind of "intuition" model similar to Alphaproof, AlphaGo, or AlphaGeometry. When tested with complex logic, it's clear that there is an interaction between models, with loops in the reasoning process. Their CoT approach is entirely different from any known CoTs. O1 represents a "system 2" way of thinking. It won't replace simpler LLMs like Claude or GPT; rather, it will complement them. For simple tasks, use GPT; for complex logic, use O1.

what about choosing the right employees, maybe ai can identify high value employees? and the employees create high value ai agents that scattershot bids (people who have a specific job they want to pay to get complete) and agents that hire *key employees for non-ai work with a person managing communications/operations/sourcing etc. .

The logical step also would be: can you make a procedure for: create a board game, review its steps, amend it to your liking and then let it perform 1, amend its output, let it do step 2 etc etc.. so it is self populating? ... sorry for the spam, but i like your no nonsense approach :)
