When it comes to colours sharks are drawn to, isn’t the underside of Mick’s board known as “yum yum yellow?” Mick is so fortunate to escape injury or worse and so blessed to have a huge, caring, extended surf family, rushing to hep him. Julian Wilson didn’t hesitate, brave beyond the imagination and a heart of gold. COURAGE = MICK AND JULIAN!

Praise God both ok. I read a comment from someone that found /read on Google I believe that yellow is bad in attracting sharks BUT then why does the bottom of their boat(s) seen in other vids yellow. Odd. Would seem then would be fine or not inforned or educated on this very important safety info.

you would think the boats and jet skis would have been positioned just behind the break. The noise would have probably kept the shark away.... Not to mention response times.

Hey there. Please ignore the cheeky moniker, it may be offputting. We're working on a web-series and an MFT called Perfect Messy Love and would like to use a little bit of your Xmas footage - a couple of the Santa surfing shots. Would that be possible?

Honestly, if the shark had really wanted to attack Mick, then it would have done the run-up and breach like we see great whites do with seals. This was likely just an investigation on the shark's behalf. They can't exactly poke someone with hands, the only way they can investigate something is with their mouth.

The odds are that you're most likely to die in a car accident or even get strike by lightning than getting eaten or attacked by a shark. If you wanna compare it to other sports as far as getting killed then surfing is one of the least sport that has deaths and drowning is more of the reason than a shark attack!
@DC-bp8sx
@DC-bp8sx 4 жыл бұрын
yvonne tito oh shut up. There’s always one of you in every shark video. We’ve heard the odds, just shut up. You ever surfed? I have my whole life and everyone I know has seen a shark out there and we know it’s the risk we take but there’s still nothing like having a couple of tons of great white zeroing in on you. When people have car accidents do you jump in and tell them they have more chance of stubbing their toe on the way to the car than having an accident in the car? Just stop it

Surfing is dangerous, the surfers know the risk of shark attacks, but they just choose to ignore it and live in denial. Simply put, there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Some say, don't surf during dawn and dusk and always go with friends. Ultimately, if a shark wants to take you, no one will be able to help you.
@sullivan0099
@sullivan0099 7 жыл бұрын
Live in denial? Or they leave in reality where they know they are more likely to be killed from a falling bolt of a commercial airliner than they do of being killed by a shark. You clueless sheep.

You ain't shit you little ego fuck! No one is arguing with you except you. You showed up on this channel just to disrespect a sport that you could never have the courage for. I can't wait for the karma police to cut down your family / friends (which I doubt you really have). Again... why are you showing up on this video to disrespect and say "we" are the ones arguing.

Not millions, but every year there are numerous shark attacks around the world. This isn't a laughing matter, it is a fact. In 2016, there were a total of 107 shark attacks.
