Ahh, that classic Van Halen sound. So are these just jam sessions or were they partially put into songs? The riff on this sounds so familiar but I cannot place it? Thanks for sharing, great stuff.

Made me sad knowing there will never be new songs from Eddie, but will always have what he did leave us with and it was great. Never been anyone who could create and play like this and probably will never be again at least in my life time.

I miss Eddie! He met my mom at a Tom Jones show in 2005 ,and my Mom was half Dutch and half Cherokee, so Eddie would call her mom and he always had her on the list when they played LA. ,we both went to see the last show at the Hollywood bowl in 2015 . And in 2020 they both passed away 3 months apart! I don't really like a world without my Mom,but Eddie too? I know they are much better now, but it is not easy for me! This is a beautiful song! Very fi

Bashes Hagar era by saying the magic was already gone, then releases a piece clearly from the balance era. 100$ says this is just an old ass unfinished demo from 1994-95 era. The tone’s unmistakable, sounds just like respect the wind.

Great! Obviously from the fair warning era. His use of the delay during the solo is very inventive. I don't think he did much with obvious delay in his solos other than Cathedral in the DLR era. Thank you for posting!

This is the kind of stuff I was expecting to hear from that camp post Hagar/Cherone. I always thought Ed in particular would do some amazing solo work that would serve as the exclamation point to such a storied career.....but it never came.......and to me that will always be the undeniably tragic element to his otherwise untouchable legacy - that those last 20 plus years yielded so little in terms of what could have been.
