Demons are not infectious in that way. They are infectious in that they will groom their victims to be hosts for themselves and other demons. Fear is also highly contagious, so spirits of fear are very virulent in how they spread. As a scientist, I recognize the pathogenic nature of many demons and sometimes disease is incorrectly attributed to a natural pathogen when in actuality it is a spiritual pathogen--a demon of sickness or spirit of infirmity.

Where is this church

I was ministering to some Independent Fundamental Baptists for the first time a couple of days ago. I've met plenty of cessationists but those people don't believe on God for anything let alone miraculous healing. They were a stonewall of unbelief and religious pride. The wife was full of demons from her pursuit of healing of minor things through witchcraft which led to much worse sickness. They believe in every form of witchcraft, energy healing, and magic potions but don't believe God heals. Extreme devout in their false religion but not even a spark of the Holy Spirit or a glimmer of the light of Jesus in them as far as I could discern. The Holy Spirit beared witness that one of their daughters was Spirit-filled though. It grieves the spirit in me to see them so imprisoned in false religion.

St. Augustine wasn't a saint. He was a false convert--a gnostic subverter who derailed much of Christiandom for over 1000 years and the antiChrist spirits which influenced him to bring in heaps of bad leaven are still at work today those who hold his and similar false doctrines above the word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The NET bible has added "sovereign" over 458 times and "sovereignty" 30 times to their bible. If sovereign means "Lord" and the Calvinists put "Sovereign Lord" into one of their pet bibles 458 times, then what does Jesus say about those who call Him "Lord, Lord..."?

Thank you, Pastor Ron for this clear and concise explanation of the gifts of the Spirit. I will pass this along to those I'm discipling. The Holy Spirit taught me about the gifts of the Spirit and how they work and are manifested. Unfortunately, so many today have no faith for the gifts because the churches have redefined natural abilities we can use for the body of Christ as the gifts of the Spirit and they include helps, giving, administration, teaching, etc. as well which are not gifts of the Spirit to edify the body and expand the Kingdom of Heaven but are people/offices gifted by God to the church.
