一切东西都是在上帝的里面。没有东西是在上帝之外。上帝是在祂里面的一切事物的起因。

上帝或实体由无限的属性组成，每个属性都表达了永恒和无限的本质，必然存在。 如果这一点被否认，如果可能的话，设想上帝不存在：那么他的本质不涉及存在。但这是荒谬的。因此上帝必然存在。

受条件限制以某种特定方式行动的事物，必然受到上帝的限制。未经上帝制约的事物无法制约自己采取行动。
