I have the 1754 code on my 05 pathfinder. I opened up the tcm box and everything checked out perfect with no broken lines. Is possible that the solenoid is the problem?

Although this has always been the problem for me, it is possible that the solenoid itself could be bad. Just make sure you check that board and wires carefully.

If you drop the pan, change gasket, clean the body, clean or change filter out, flush 1-2 & then periodic change, yes. That's an old wise tale, do the maintenance & it will also clean solenoids for longer life.

Guys GM's mandated fix for exhaust leaks on the diesels is to put tiger tape in the connector thats oem like this but a ring and goes around a billowed portion of pipe

People blasting this guy, leave him alone. Is this the right way to do it? Absolutely not, did it fix the issue he was having? I bet it did. So if it works it works. Him knowing what the problem is and coming up with a solution is good enough for me. Not many people can even attempt to do what he did these days. Much respect from me my man.

Well, thank you. I don't normally respond to negative comments of people who have no understanding of things. I decided to do so on this particular issue. However, what the people ( who are making the negative comments) purposely fail to understand is, this band clamp is made specifically for this purpose, and I have used them for years without one ever failing. Furthermore, if one cuts a pipe straight down the middle, this is a right way of repairing it. There are more than one right way of repairing this issue, and this way, is if one does not want to weld, or bother those rusted bolts and rusted flange. Now, I think what they are mostly focused on, is the residue of muffler cement that is on the outside of the pipe, that I could have wipe off but did not. Maybe next time, I will clean the excess off, however, it is the band clamp that is important.

All you had to do was put a coupler pipe and welded it and there was no need for that clamp that clamp is disgusting. It’s going to leak just cause you smashed a bunch of muffler cement on. It doesn’t mean it’s gonna stay like that. This is disgusting work.

@@miguelangeltovias5250 That clamp never leaks. It was not designed to leak. You should try one of them .

I will engage with you on this matter for the moment. Please answer these questions. Question, what do you think muffler cement is for? Now, understand, muffler cement is on the pipe and under the clamp. Question, what do you think this band clamp was made for? Now, don't pay attention to the residue muffler cement that is outside the pipe and on the top of the clamp. Now, answer the two questions please.

Hello, my 2012 model Nissan Micra 1.2 CVT vehicle sometimes goes at a speed of 50-60 kilometers, the engine failure light comes on and it vibrates. When we connect it to the device, it gives P0846 FLUID PRESS SEN/SW B error. What's the problem? What needs to be done?

The first thing to actually check is your wiring going to the transmission, make sure they are not touching together due to the heat coming from exhaust that melts the wired together
@bcbutthead2009
@bcbutthead2009 14 күн бұрын
obviously you don't work on cars for a living. That's always to the first simple check but if you don't see any wires moved out of place and are still in the retainers that they should be in then by theory be ok otherwise there would be a tsb about it. He seems like someone that has seen this problem a few times before otherwise he wouldn't have a test part on hand. now I am sure when not doing a video he checks it with the test part first before he just drops the pan but for informative reasons he wanted to let people know why he was using a test part. Just saying my family has owned an automotive shop for the last twenty years and I grew up there technicians are one of the smartest people around

Boiling water works just as well on a bonded seperator plate. Simply boil some water and place the plate in water and within a couple minutes the gaskets and bonding agent will start to lift. Keep the plate in the hot water while scraping it because once it starts too cool down the bonding agent sets up again and that happens very quickly. I wish I found your video 3 hours sooner. That's how long it took me to scrape 1 side of he plate clean. After finding this video I boiled water and I cleaned the other side off in about a minute and a half. No chemicals needed.
