Hi Robert. I have 2012 Z1000 with akra slip ons, I'm debating wether to get it upgraded to full system and lose the cat. The only thing it's holding me back is the MOT. Is there any issues going for MOT with an aftermarket full exhaust system (without catalytic converter)?

Very tastefully done rob,and it's a massive improvement on how it was standard... You did it well,only one thing get shot of the reflector and get reflective tape from Halfords and run a strip along the bottom,looks much better and neater rob.... Great job...

Look for the double ball bearing on the gear shaft behind the clutch. That play causes it. It was the reason why Kawasaki changed the clutch in 2016 for 3-spring light slipper. I’ve seen many. It also comes with clutch judder on the beginning and a rattling noise when downshifting

Hi just a couple of questions, i have a mk2 12 here running stock headers but the exact same can as this without baffle , is dynojet stage 1 kit sufficient enough for this and also dj098 main jet is installed, kit also came with dj100 is there much difference between the two also can i change main jets without taking carbs back off, bike is also missing collector box gasket seems to run okay but sometimes sounds as if its spitting at idle when cold sometimes it also is slower to come back down on revs from 2 to 3000 other times its very responsive

I have to change it, but I'm afraid of oil leaking. I heared I should tilt my bike a lot. Is it true? I just changed oil so I don't want to waste it

So, I have tried to do the very exact same thing, gsf600, same old ignition rotor and tried to fit the same new 5° one like this video but mine doesn't wanna give out any spark until I add the old one back on? Anyone give any advice. Also found the new rotor to be abit of a tight squeeze to bolt on, I actually have to pry it off with a flathead

I went to remove the ball joints but they just jept rounding off. Is the heat gun to leave the fixings in the boot but pop the strut off the ball joint? I began to drill the damn thing off but i thiught there must be a better way...

25 Grand bike & fit a crappy Ting Tong damper ... (Why)?. Damper 's fitted in wrong place for this bikes design, it'll hammer thread in frame due to bolt flex stress. If you don't have a twin bolt front tank mount, damper really needs to be fitted below the bottom yoke.

Hi Robert, I didn't expect someone else to have the exact same issue as me. I have a 2019 z1000r with almost 30k km and when this year's riding season came it suddenly started having the issue on the 1st or 2nd ride. I'll have to do the repair by a professional but I was wondering how much spare parts cost you if your remember. I know it's been a while but I'd appreciate it the insight. Also, what do you think the reason behind this? Bad usage? parts longevity? or maybe engine braking too much? Considering the speeds here in my country I use 4th most of the time when accelerating hard. Thank you
