i have never been more enthralled with a click and point style story game !! this game looks like it could've come out within the last couple years- i was honestly shocked to see that it was released in 2013. i'm honestly tempted to snag this for myself and play it before you release the rest of the gameplay ! bigby a cutie hawkablush

I stg I hate fishing in stardew. I turned my farm into a multiplayer farm and got my husband to learn how to fish and he caught me a bunch of fish. I do whatever I can to avoid it myself 😂 I also think you might enjoy Cult of the Lamb, since it has the dungeon crawler aspect to go with the cosy gaming management style game.

At level 40 of the mines you're really going to need a pickaxe upgrade becausethe rocks are harder to break. Bring 5 copper bars and 2000g to clint and he'll do it over the course of three days. Love this series 😊

Coffee do actually improve all speeds including swinging your weapon. And you know what more? Dust sprites sometimes drop coffee beans which you can plant on the farm to grow more coffee. The problem comes to brewing it, you need a keg for that. You get a keg for completing the artisans bundle (first you need to complete the summer forage bundle to unlock it though) or you can craft it once you reach farming lvl 8. You will also need oak resin, so already putting up a few tappers on some oaks (they are trees with the entirely green leaves, the ones with some brown stuff on too are maples which give maple syrup instead). Making a small coffee farm is rather easy since you can replant the first harvest /just plant the beans) and you can grow it during spring and summer, they also give several beans every few days but a cup needs 5. The alternative is to become really friendly with Evelyn, she gifts you a coffee maker that grants you a new cup every morning but I think that is at 8 hearts or so. Yeah, having a stack of it is great, many likes it (Willy is also a huge fan but Sebastian and Abagail likes it too, not as much as Harvey though). Once you have a kitchen you can also learn to make espresso which last a lot longer. There is tea too, if you get 2 hearts with Caroline and go through the door in her kitchen.

thank you so much, i was so worried i was not gonna deal well with brewing it myself. im gonna become evelyns BEST frient, thank you!!

@@flyinghawkbutt They are frankly very easy to brew once you have a keg, it gets ready in a few hours and you can grow a lot of beans quickly. But Evelyn is surely a good alternative, anything besides buying the coffee from Gus, he really charge you premium for it.😆

You can give Harvey a gift during his birthday, it should be able to raise his hearts with you more than any other day. Also you should be able to get cutscenes from Shane and Harvey. Go to the Cindersap forest at 8pm from Shane (When it isn’t raining), and go to Gorge’s house from Harvey

I love watching you discover the world of SDV and finding all the little surprises. It’s like I get to play it for the first time again! I’ve played many thousands of hours and if I have one regret, it’s using the Wiki too much on my 1st save. There’s so much fun to be had trying to figure out the puzzles and secrets. That said, here’s a non-spoiler tip to help you in the mines: try digging in the dirt down there. Lots of treasures to be found. Have fun!

Farming's not my fav but I dedicate an in-game hour or 2 every morning and then have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. I barely waste any time on it and unlock community centre bundles:-) on your inventory, the tree symbol moves if you're hovering over a community centre item, sometimes the reward from community centre is greater than selling the item
@marrygore25396 күн бұрын
You can get coffee beans in the mine by killing dust spirits (those little bouncing balls you saw in level 41). You can plant them to get more coffee beans or put them directly into a keg to get the coffee. You can get a keg by completing bundles at the community center, from the prize machine in Lewis's house, or by crafting them yourself after reach level 8 at farming.

0:50 You need more Chests, both because each can only store 3 rows of items, and because it's easier to find things if your stuff is organised.

3:29 Just start over and pick the Meadowlands Farm. That starts you with a Coop and 2 Chickens, and some special blue Grass growing there that makes animals happier than normal Grass. The only real stress pertains to the randomness of finding Clay for a Silo, and finding Earth Crystals so you can process the Eggs into Mayo. Or if you like mining then there's a mining-focused farm you can choose, Hills or something.

26:01 The range of the Scarecrow is 8 tiles, so unless you dig it up and move it closer, the Crow might come and ruin some of your crops. Also, for your own sake, you ought to pursue the Backpack upgrade harder. A larger inventory gives peace of mind. Being limited to 12 items is annoying, even a bit stressful.

summer is my fav stardew season, mostly because most the grows regrow and you don't have to keep planting them, specifically blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, and hops so once you have sprinklers all you have to do is plant them and wait for them to grow, don't even have to worry abt watering them with sprinklers so u have time to do other things and harvest the crops when they're ready

The animals are one of my favorite parts of stardew, so I don't really mind the routine of petting them. Plus, pigs are actually considered a pretty low effort way to get cash (they dig up truffles by themselves as long as you feed them, and by the time you unlock them the barn will have a auto feeder). The coup has some "secret" animals that you can only get by placing eggs that you find/buy into an incubator. Void chickens are black chickens with red eyes that you get through a random event in the night after building a coup with an incubator, or you can buy void eggs from a shopkeeper you unlock after donating enough items to the museum. My favorite coup animal is dinosaurs, the first dinosaurs egg you find you should save to place in an incubator instead of donating it. Void mayonnaise and dino mayonnaise actually don't retain the quality of the egg with only regular quality mayonnaise being possible to make, so you actually don't need to retain friendship with them. Dinos also only lay eggs once a week, so you don't even need to check the coup every day if you don't want to. Technically, if you read the "Treasure Appraisal Guide" book (which x3 the price of artifacts) the highest quality dino eggs (iridium) will actually sell for more than dino mayo. Combine the artifact book with giving a dino a golden animal cracker (an item that x2 an animals production), and they become the most profitable in-game animal. But that takes quite a bit of setup. I actually don't like them for optimization, though the main reason I like dinos is because I just like dinosaurs irl. I moded my game to reskin the coup dinos into realistic velociraptors (real velociraptors were almost fully feathered and around around the size of a turcky) of various colors. So now I have a coup filled with a rainbow pack of velociraptors just because they make me happy :> If you took the time to read this comment, thank you! And remember, Stardew doesn't have to be about money optimization (not that there's anything wrong with playing that way). If you prefer, you can make your goal to build a cute farm that's focused more on vibes :)
@loke66646 күн бұрын
I think the "secret animal" you think off is actually a barn animal that requires a special incubator...
@imat-rex5 күн бұрын
@loke6664 No, I was referring to the non buyable coup animals that are obtainable early in the game. "That animal" is only unlocked once you get to the ginger island, which she's pretty far from. There's actually an even more secret coup animal that can be hatched, but that animal requires reaching perfection (which you can't even track until you unlock the ginger island). I felt comfortable mentioning dinos, and void chickens because you can receive dino eggs very early if you're very lucky when fishing (I once got one in the summer of year one). The void egg can be given through a random event any night as long as you have a coup that has been updated at least once and still has space. Since either can be obtained year one with good RNG, and it's very easy for a first-time player to donate their first dino egg or sell their void egg only to regret it later, I thought it be good if someone brought those two up just incase.

Hii love your videos. You were right Abigail is the rock-eater. Try with a piece of quartz next time. Also if you want to progress further in the mine you should get the backpack and maybe consider upgrading the pickaxe. Unfortunately you need to talk to clint and you'll need five copper bars (you can smelt them in the furnace) and if i remember correctly 2000 gold. He will take the pickaxe for a couple of day to upgrade it. The starfruit you planted can be sold for a lot of money. Keep up the good work

This is also why you need to make lots of money (e.g. by farming efficiently). All those upgrades are expensive.

Also, if you get a coop or barn, you'll want to get a silo before winter. I would actually suggest getting a stable before either of those, a horse will save you a lot of time running around every day. Personally I have a mod that turns the horse into a motorcycle. Doesn't give you any extra speed or anything, just looks like a bike lol

Turning the bug meat into bug steaks is actually not that bad even if it probably taste awful. In any case, the "kill 80 bugs" slayer goal gives you a great but but a bit iffy looking weapon that is worth it. Never sell the copper ore though, at least refine it to bars first, it will increase your earning. You could also make tappers from them instead and place on trees, on maple trees they give maple syrup every 4 days which can be used as a nice passive income or you could use it to build some beehives for honey. Refining raw materials will usually earn you a lot more then selling them as is. I would suggest you grow some melons and blueberries for summer, they are both tasty and will earn you money & farming XP. You kinda need farming XP to unlock the sprinklers. Watering crops can get rather tedious. Farming XP is also the way to unlock the preserves jar and cask who doubles respectively triple the value of whatever you put in them. Since you seem to be going for a small farm, that will allow you to still earn some good money without planting too much. The summer squash is pretty meh but free.
