Actually the song is Libyan accent and Libyan music arranged by Hamid before he arrived to Egypt..but Egypt of course made him a legend and he transformed the Arab music when he settled in Egypt which is called the Hollywood of the middle east

Thanks for this interview and the excellent choice of an interview partner. I really hoped she would have told more about her life as a daughter of "avantgarde" parents. I watched the video halfway through and when she kept talking about false history in American school books and the misogynist evil of christianity, and that art is the new religion, as if it was something groundbreaking, I resigned. Like, seriously: Everyone on the internet is ranting about this, it is so common nowadays. It seems like her views on things are merely second-hand, as she was not capable of explaining them or displaying one original thought. She had a talent for writing but did not pursue it, she has a website that she hates, she made a film that no one can watch because it was "too expensive"...? Maybe she is in the wrong place in her life. Just a regular mom with a shitty childhood. And, by the way, you said you were raised by "working class parents", but still claim everyone "should do what they love". If you`re not bohemian upper class with freedom and money you are struggling 24/7 just to survive, and do not have the luxury "to do what you love"!

Leaving kids alone for a whole weekend is not only horribly immature but also heartless and actually illegal where I`m from. Whether Michele is labelling herself as an artist or priestess or whatever, I don`t care. Most importantly, it seems she has been unfit for parenting a child. Poor Scarlett. I feel sorry for her.

ok, jsut dont forget that France or Austria and their standards, welfare, holiday entitlement, or French mentality regarding civic engagement, etc., all that does not equal otherwise much more varried Europe. But Europe is completely falling apart anyway or at least shaping up to become very very different to what its been for the past couple of centuries.

Have you guys actually read the bible? This is a dangerous example of talking about subjects out of preconception, excerpts and pulling things out of context.. There are women authors and strong female figure heads in the bible. Regarding prostitutes there are still taboos in present day but Jesus teaches we should not judge which at 6BC was even more radical.

I think if aliens ever got confirmed by the government, it would disprove the existence of god and therefore religion would crumble. All these people believing in going to heaven if you’re good goes away, and with them now knowing that isn’t the case they’ll go on a rampage doing crazy stuff knowing there’s no consequences after you die. The world would be fucked which is why I think they’ll never tell us the truth even when they do find evidence

He is an Egyptian-Libyan singer and musician. His mother is Egyptian, and his father is Libyan. So, he has the best of both worlds. Hamid was influenced by the Libyan legend Nasser El Mezdawi. El Mezdawi composed the song Ouyounha (her eyes). Hamid re-arranged most of El Mezdawi's music and sang them. We must give credit to Libyan music especially El Mezdawi for their great contributions to Arab music in the seventies, eighties, and nineties.
