Love Dave Dowle. Great drummer. Would love to know what happened to him. Last I heard of him was when he played on a live album by The Moody Marsden Band recorded in 1995 and released in 2001.

Broke the mold when Chappers came around, another example of why the late 60's early 70's was the epitome of great rock.

Saw them with the Who at Swansea in 1976. The rain went away as he sung My Friend The Sun. Widowmaker, Streetwalkers, The Outlaws, Little Feat, Alex Harvey and the Who. All for £4. Oasis tickets have just been announced, £150, and they’re not a patch on any of the above.

Yes, I remember in the seventies,, we were at art school, which he went too as well, we used to go and see him at the Cricketers, and he used to sit with us, and chat, he is such a nice guy, he did a gig at Roots Hall for the art school, fantastic,! anybody remember that! Thanks Mickey Jump, my 27 year old son now is a real fan as well! Bill Balleny

Same thing happened at Buxton Festival in 1974...overcast/drizzly all weekend, then they performed this, the sun peeked through, then went away after the song...

The Les Paul lead guitarist, Bobby Tench, was the lead vocalist with The Jeff Beck Group during the period of '71 and 72! He's a world class vocalist in his own right.

Very cool. But what is Roger wearing? The slightly flared, nylon, old man trousers: No! In the space of a couple of years he transformed from one of the most genuinely deranged looking dudes into a London cabbie who's about to say something racist.
