If you have one? A piss bottle? Throw the whole thing away. Unless you're using one for the week. Dump it out in the grass. Take the bottles out of the truck. Throw them away.

It’s better to throw them away. Well I can’t really say what’s the better option because I always stop to use the bathroom or park in rest areas

@@257truckingvlogTv1 my creaky 63 year old bladder sometimes says. NOW! I wear a guard. Men's guards are like the pads women wear on the inside of the underwear. IF, I leak a little? It goes into the guard. But, if there's no place to stop? I use the bottle. Or, if it's pouring out or 3 degrees and snowing and I don't feel comfortable trudging to the bathroom in the rest area in the middle of the night. That's not surrendering. That's fighting back against the old man. Stay safe and well young man.

@257truckingvlogTv1
@257truckingvlogTv1 2 күн бұрын
No worries bro the account is pretty straight forward I’m not sure if your going to orientation with Werner or coke it self but if your going to Werner on the account you will be picking up pre loaded trailers for delivery to drop them off. The loads are a bit heavy so make sure you have a full understanding of sliding your tandems and what holes you need to be in so the weight is balanced properly. 9 times out of 10 they will be a live unload so make sure you get to your deliveries on time make sure your seals match on the paperwork. Drive carefully so the loads don’t shift and make sure you strap your loads down put like 2 to 3 straps if possible. It’s a simple account just do your best with managing your clock follow your GPS (truck) you will be fine once you get in your groove you will be great out there. Good luck shoot a message if you got any questions

@quan5463 last year I made 61k at that location but it was not from dollar tree I made most of my money going over the road or helping out on other accounts to be honest I think you could make 50k over there if you watch my other videos my departure from Werner video I explained that it’s not enough work for us due to there being more than one trucking company there at the dollar tree distribution center. They advertise you can make 100k on that account but the particular location all your delivery are next to each other your not getting any miles over there to make the 100k the people seeing that kinda people are the drivers out in Oklahoma. I’m not sure which location you going to but it’s good on hometime if you have family or your doing other things just get the experience and sharpen your skills there if your a new driver

Maybe you can try the tanker side of Prime. Rex does well. He's done both nonfoods ( inedible) and food grade. I have a friend who works for a smaller hauling additives for paint and adhesives from NJ to Alaska. Seriously. Tankers, most non hazardous. His company has less than 100 trucks. Most of it is "" drop & swap "". Good luck and God bless you .

Prime is a big and massive SCAM. Hear me out man, let me explain why.... They charge everyone a miles fee. Every single load has it on and at first youre thinking that you are making money. But that excess miles fee piggy bank it tallying up. I left due to my mother dying and they sent me a bill for $10,000 for excess miles. WHAT!?!?! for real. no lie, no joke. I ran and ran and ran and worked and was good to them and loyal and they send me this crazy - insane bill. I did research and found this is common practice of theirs - billing driver thousands of dollars for this excess mile fee. If i cant pick my own loads and they knowingly give me laods with these miles fee, how are we to know what each load is fee-wise and also, what our TOTAL mile fee is. You are making about 70% of what you think you are making, then need to take taxes out, you end up only making about 35%. ANYONE that says otherwise is either lying, ignorant to the FACTS or has been there so long that their granfathered in. I have been in the game for a decade and i also have a MBA degree. I have done leases in the past and this one is bananas. They also steal all of your bonus miles and dont even apply those to your excess mile fee scam charges.

Yo I never ended up going to the dollar tree account for Werner. I canceled last minute but I’m set to leave on Wednesday Fr fr this time. I already have 3 years experience driving but these local jobs here (San Antonio Texas) either don’t pay shit and the ones that do ain’t hiring. Dollar tree Rosenberg averaging at 1800$ a week maybe more so I’m gone fr fr. Tired of these weak ass checks. I know it’s hard work but at the end of the day I’m the captain of the ship so if I need to take a breather I will do exactly that. How you been tho ? You still over there ??

I been good I left Werner in mid March they was on bs with me with the loads knowing they didn’t have enough for everyone hence why you see 1000+ stores are closing down. But yea pace your self your in Texas so those trailers will be extremely hot try keep as much water with you as possible. If you feel like you may pass out just stop. Take your break inside the truck with the AC on. Before I left they did say this whole setup was going to change to pallets and lift gates but idk when that will happen. You might get lucky with some stores some of those workers will jump inside the truck and help

Once upon a time dollar general freight was loaded just like the load we just saw. The freight was loaded all the way to the roof. Normally you would think the heavy freight would be on the floor? It wasn't loaded that way heavy bleach would be at the top of the stack. That is absolutely unsafe and totally insane. What I saw when I was pulling dollar general trailers was very unorganized and the professional drivers had to make it work. I also noticed that drivers didn't stay doing that freight very long. Overall I don't think very many drivers last very long doing dollar general freight. The trailers were poorly maintained. The tandems were poorly maintained and the doors were poorly maintained. More recently the freight is put in roll around carts its difficult and the driver is expected to bring back the empty carts from the stores. The space around the stores is very tight then add customers cars it does create challenges. The last thing that I would say is you are at the store and unloading and you run out of hours for that day you will be expected to finish unloading and then be prepared to stay in the parking lot by the store until you get additional hours the next day. Just expect poor working conditions. Inside the trailers are extremely hot during the summer time. Inside the trailers will typically be twenty degrees warmer than the outside temperatures. If it's 90 degrees outside Inside the trailer will be 110 degrees. To sum up working delivering dollar general freight just expect a lot of poor working conditions and most professional drivers just don't do this work very long. I noticed that most who do this long term are those that are living near the distribution center.
