Try a carnivore diet to resolve health issues. Make sure you get lots of animal fat in addition to the protein. Carbohydrates are unnecessary and usually quite detrimental.

Wow man. I saved 2 lionheaded rabbits from the alley behind by collleg house, 4 years ago. I now have 6. 1 pure bread lion head and tha rest are lionheas rex mix. The 2 OGs have passed as of about 2 weeks ago. But i totally feel the same man, these rabbits teach me so much responsibility and helping w the garden i grow a big ol garden so its a perfe t balance w nature and they are my children!!

What are you feeding them? We have a domestic someone's pet they dumped and it knocked up a wild cotton tail they had babies there everywhere we have 2 acres out in the sticks I feed them bag food but curious leafy greens they might like

Beautiful buns, nice to see a realistic Rabbitry, I run a Rabbitry called Mash & Company, we aren't official content creators but it's nice to see "the mess" rabbits make in general. Most channels do their videos after the clean with not a speck of hay out of place 😅

you could have a Charlie :) got to remember the REW gene hides the color, they still carry it tho and under the white they are colored!! so those Rews can be Tri, broken, black pretty much anything the parents carry but chinchilla.

Help me out. I’m new to learning about rabbits. This is my first time seeing rabbits like these. They are gorgeous! Can you tell me the name of the breed, how much an adult would weigh and will the adult rabbit develop an extra growth or pouch on the neck like the adult in this video?

@@bigred6815 Thats called a dew lap and the Rex breed can have one in America for shows the UK it's not allowed in the Rex breed. it helps the doe build a nest as they pull fur off their bodies for their nest to keep the babies warm.. Does that do not have this Dew lap sometimes pull their front legs and belly bald.. Adults will be around 7 to 10 pounds with 8 about the ideal.

Pretty Tri's! The REW means your mom and dad does not carry the chinchilla color so you will not get magpie or chinchillas. Show people do not want theses colors in their Tri as they are not showable.. well magpies, they are a chinchilla harli.. Black and white patchy ones..

those were very pretty, people sapped them up quick - in the future I want to retain a charlie tricolor to breed to harlequin to see if I can get a tri-litter, definitely a future project, may let the black otter mom breed with the tricolor buck next if I can rehome the ones I have. I've already made my mind up to only go one litter at time.

Fawn is a dilute of red.. Fawn will have blue or Lalic spots as blue is a dilute of Black. Lalic is the dilute of chocolate you can think of the dilute gene waters down the colors but I see you know that! :) So when in a combo like a tri the dilutes will always be together.. in fawn Lalic or fawn blue.. Rufus is like a filter it can work on all colors. so yeah a low rufus red might be almost as pale as a strong rufus fawn.. Lynx is a chocolate-based color. the dilute of chocolate with rings in the coat of a castor but castor is black based so your just changing the base color on a lynx or a castor and it changes the total look!. it's your base color with added rings in the hair.. base colors are your self.. all other colors are built off the four basic self colors.. Black, Chocolate, Blue, Lalic... dilute should make the eye color gray over brown.. this is a must for show.. I've had a few blues with brown eyes tho so that's some other odd gene I don't understand that is not effecting the eye color on a dilute like it should! but eye color is a good way to tell if you have a fawn or a low rufus red along with blue or Lalic spots in tri unless you have odd genes floating around like I have :) What puppy dogs your babies are!

interesting - I bought link from the rex association president at a rabbit show - his sister was a beautiful opal and he call link a fawn colored lynx - someone was said he looked like a blue tort, I'm not sure how chocolate fits in when all their parents were opals. Thanks for the info, I learn mainly from people telling me things like this

@@rexbabyrabbits it can be hard sometimes to tell certain colors apart, Tort will not have any eye rings, nor ear lacing, like a fawn or a lynx. But sometimes it can be super hard when you add otter and non-extension plus wide band .. I have no idea what a Fawn colored lynx is, it's Fawn or Lynx ..my guess is the rabbit has wide band and Yes Judges have a VERY hard time telling these colors apart as well sometimes, he could be ones of those in-between colors that would need test breeding and a review of a pedigree ECT to figure out :) I had a friend win a bunch with what was thought to be a blue trot under several judges but it was a blue fox and dismissed from the show by one judge who knows color! :)

The Rex babies are so adorable! Link is definitely a Lynx colored rex and Puppy-Do looks like a low Rufus Black/Orange Tri but he might be a Fawn/Blue Tri if he has blue coloring on him.

I'm so glad you saved that bunny from the rabbit show he gave him a chance even though he's paralyzed and you get rid of his ear mites and he's doing so much better you're the best funny dad your baby bunnies are beautiful and gorgeous I have six rabbits for my buns are single bonds in their own cages to my buns are repairing bonded neutered boys that have spent on the floor and I love my bunnies with my whole heart and yes they're in cages like yours but I do let them have free roam in their playpen as much as I can I also have 12 pet rats three mice and a chihuahua all live with me inside my one-bedroom apartment none of my babies live outside so yeah I know how it is people talk crap because your animals live in cages ignore them don't pay no mind to them you're the best bunny dad ever you given him the best life possible that you can give them and your baby bunnies are gorgeous tell Mama good job God bless you and your bunnies always

thanks, hope to continue on with the content - it's a challenge. I'm going to do a vid with them at 70 days here in next couple of days on the floor they look good. When they don't sell they become my composting family. I won't have any more until these guys find new homes.

@@beholy12 they would love regular but I give mine honey nut so they would turn their nose up at regular now - I only give mine a handful few each day when I'm handling them, it really helps get the scratching and skittishness out of them, plus the biting - makes them real friendly

Omg you just said Binky. Binky was my bunny who had special needs! Im glad your Binky is doing better. Eventually my Binky died of his seizures after 5 years 😢 his junior and twin is our baby Dinky and he acts and looks just like him. I pray your Binky continues to improve

I love them, they are my family. I regret having to use cages but it's either that or don't have them at all. I try to give them floor time, I notice that when they get tired of running around they go back to the cage to get in their box and go to sleep

Beside the basic hay and pellets, I cut them greens and usually pick them up a produce item each day when I'm out, it can add up when demand is down but usually they pay for their upkeep
