there are. most of the time they stick to the metal so they arent on the pads anymore. i wouldnt replace them usually, as they, in most cases are still in pretty good condition.

I feel like you shouldn’t have to take apart a console to clean it these companies make it too difficult to care for your expensive toys and it sucks 😕

Well the problem is to change thermal paste that should be done by somebody that knows at least a bit about this stuff so making this very easily accessible could lead to problems but yeah for cleaning that is true Luckily at least most laptops and pc cases are designed in a way where it is relatively easy

Looks like it’s probably going to be around double the price for the same amount of storage as pcie4 drives, as much as I would love to have them I don’t see the point, I need minimum 4TB, that’s around £500-£600 just on one 4TB or two 2TB drives alone. I can get two 4TB Samsung 990 pro for that

One of my SSD's died, and trying this method out. Kept me awake all night long trying to diagnose it to no avail. The SSD is formatted with ZFS, so there's very few software tools available, and all of them failed, so trying out hardware solutions now.

Reporting back, and I can confirm that this trick worked. Additionally, I learned that the cause of the SSD dying was because of the SATA cable being faulty, because I put another SSD in place of the one I just revived again, and now that other SSD is dead.

left a Lexor 500gb 2.5 sata plugged into power for 1 hour - shut down - added data and power - powered on - no drive. Moved the drive to 2nd computer windows 11 and to a 2.5 caddy USB and hit the power - checked mgmt - no joy - then all of a sudden the drive started blinking in the usb caddy and i could see it uninitialized in the mgmt interface. Could not initialize so left it blinking to see if it would change anything - thx for sharing the video with your experience - its helpful and i will remember the power only for 1 hr. trick - still working the Lexor 500.

Thank you so much- that you tip you gave about just plugging it in- invaluable. For, unplugging it and plugging it in again, as you first suggested, did the trick. So, I used the opportunity to transfer all my data to a different machine and buy an upgrade for my sketchy 25" SSD.

in your opinion what cheap phone has the best camera? I have a moto g34 and the camera is pretty good, it cost me 103 euros on aliexpress. The only problem with this phone is the screen is 720p

tbh i dont see the screen as a massive problem. 295 ppi on this is still more than enough in terms of sharpnedd. considering cameras almost any cheap phone in that range has the same sensor which isnt great. even up to the 200-250 dollar range the cameras are kinda meh... if you want a phone with a decent camera id look into a used pixel.

Yupp! Motorala uses to deliver an almost naked android. I used the Moto g5s for many years. Would still use it but the OS is too old. One Motorola caveat is maybe they dont deliver updates for long. I have xiaomi now, hate it for the bloatware, that doesnt make up for really good and cheap hardware. Totally agree.

You can disable or uninstall most bloatware. Xiomi's problem is the cameras suck.

@@alpacamale2909 Thx man, i indeed spend two days trying to uninstall lots of stuff via the command line. Found a lot of explanation for that. Felt a bit scary though😆 still not at home with the more playful chinese approach to android. But i am old and they deliver to their customers what they ask for. So its not about good or bad but just my personal preference. I use a norton commander clone and have ssh installed😂 hardware is really good value for the money, i trust you with the camera thing as i am not competent to judge. What smartphone do you use?

On xiaomi i tried to uninstall it but with every small software update and over time everzthing comes back automatically which is really annoying. As for cameras yeah that is the case for most budget phones though... If you want a decent camera id buy a used pixel for example.

Hello, i have an M2 SSD Kingston KC3000 bought in May 2023 and now i'm facing issues with it. For example, the ssd is detected in windows, but the PC boots very very slow due to it. What i'm worried about is that i have 1.7tb of data on it and tried to move/copy, but the speed is very slow, i tried to copy 24gn today, managed to copy only 9gb in 14hrs, at some point it got stuck at a file and hade to shutdown the pc. But also the shutdown part due to the kingston m2 it very slow, around 10min it takes to shutdown. And we're talking about a PC build from scratch last year (2023), which has Ryzen9 7900, 32gb ram, mobo gigabyte aorus elite ax, rtx 3070ti, as a main boot ssd i have an 2tb samsung 990pro and yesterday o ordered also a 4tb one to try to save my data from the kingston one. What would you recommend i'd do in regards to this kingston kc3000 ? Thx a lot!

I discovered several recovery services and they all seem professional and confident but in reality they were all scam ( sure they might fix and recover your drive ) but the charge you an arm and leg with their hidden fees …..

No only the later part qith initialization. The first part doesnt as a ssd has a kind of self repair process and/or spare flash cells that can be utilized jf others are worn/inaccessible. Which isnt possible on an hdd

Also the 'clean' function in CMD does a factory reset on the drive. Another trick that can help restore it

Hello Sir! Just wanted to check with you. I have an alienware laptop with 6900HX cpu and 6850m XT GPU. I am trying to undervolt and limit power of the GPU to run at stock speed. I am trying to use the MPT but I cant find any GPU in the dropdown. Can you help me? My GPU driver is the latest 24.7.1 and I not sure if MPT is still useable to date. May I know if yours is working?

You need to load a ROM, use GPU-Z to save your BIOS and then use it
