Streamer is overrated. It's only bordering on overpowered when paired with Overseer or Prototype S, but even then it is replacable by HItman or Pro with one of those weapons. Hitman and Pro are better than Streamer in some situations, like in mid-game (Streamer is less consistent in mid-game when it's upgraded less and there are less of them) and camo spam (Streamer's fans do not have camo detection unless you pair them with Golden Friend or Mountain Wolf/Antique Pistol). Fans also do not have custom targeting settings, which means you can't set them to target enemies you find dangerous (a trait Pro or Hitman with the same super weapons shines at). If you pair Streamer with Prototype S, the fans will often waste shots on weaklings in the front and take forever to reload. Streamer is just good when paired with any weapon that's not a super weapon, and the weapon must have at least 75 range (range is crucial for Streamer combos because it means the fans will be able to attack enemies from far away and stack up). Not saying Streamer is not useful, it just didn't powercreep as much as people think it has. Mostly the super weapons are creating the powercreep. Streamer is a replacement for Pro for cleaning up hordes of strong enemies during late-game, and it needs the support of other towers so the fans don't keep getting run over.
