It's a 1932 Gibson L-5 acoustic archtop with medium gauge 80/20 bronze strings. And it's supposed to be loud, punchy, with tons of character and nuanced detail when desired.

Acoustic hollow body probably set up with bronze strings. These are the types of guitars that were able to cut through a band in the days of Count Basie ala Freddie Green. I want one too!
