Does this remove the hardening? I use a railroad anvil, and it’s great. When I need to flatten something, I have a separate flat piece of 1 1/2” plate for that. Works well.

She sounds great. I’ve called Welters three times in the last few weeks just putting the TA back normal... from previous owner destroying it. Maybe by spring my M5 won’t be in two separate pieces. Thanks again for the video.

I pulled an M5 out of a guys fence row... gonna be my project soon. Gotta replace the T/A , then it’s off to get her back to life. Thanks for your video. I now have an idea what my old girl will sound like

Since this video was uploaded this old tractor got a full engine rebuild. When this was filmed the piston ring landings on all four cylinders were broke clear off. I’ll try and get a video up of her running with the new top end.

That’s what my 1960 GVI will sound like when I fix her up to running again. Similar looking to this one but mine has skinny front tyres but the engine looks very similar and the grill and lights look the same
