It just hit me from their discussion that the devs totally did the "win four and you get one for free" mechanic as a sort of 'blacklist' or 'skip' button for maps someone doesn't like, space battles would serve a similar function in the sequel. Any game which lets you personally direct the Death Star's fury against whole planets is pretty awesome, Empire at War probably bring the king as usual.

I like how a major source of the conflict on Kashyyyk was a rebel real estate scheme. Also, that beach map is so iconic, I love it more than the Battlefront 2 one tbh.

This is such a great idea for a series, thanks for these. Fond memories of the two Bespin maps and their, uh, different styles. (Literally One Hallway versus actually a cool, different set of terrain and elevation and stuff.) While I'm sure overall, Battlefront 2 Classic wins over the original, I'm not gonna lie, a certain charm and quality was somehow lost. Not just pure nostalgia, either; the AI is at least as competent if not significantly more so, the map design as you touched on was great, etc.

Kills in star fighters don't count weirdly enough... That's why everyone has negative points cause it only counted their deaths

I think the problem here is he's not capturing enough command posts and having more command posts than the enemy team depletes their reinforcements

4:04 unit 032 was the one. Friendly AI can’t kill players so he was trying to save ya but you rushed in too far and made it hard for your team mate to put any damage onto the droid in the first place

These videos are too funny. I love watching y'all play this. I typically play on PC and it would be awesome to play against a console player as a PC player lol.

Maybe one profile is set to hard ai and the other one is set to easy ai ?

I use to play on Felucia on the mission love the acklays. Its pretty funny when you get killed by them. Now my favorite is Courscant the mission I wish they did hunt on that and you areva standard 501st clone vs the two groups of jedi. In this version of hunt you can play as Anakin Skywalker when he marched on the jedi temple for the jedi Shaak Ti or some other jedi or allow all Jedi vs the 501st legion and Anakin Skywalker.

Funny enough I had teammates AIs do that also the one with 0 only got 1 kill that was it. My accuracy is alright which each account i made on that game was easily the best and made it to general on all of them beating the missions and messing around offline on freeplay with no enemies. The death star is fun to explore and just familiarize yourself with the maps three space battles and test fly you should be good knowing the layout cuz different space battles may have different layouts.

It's greivous thats on Tattoine i am 99% sure. The original battlefront you get four wins in a row you can destroy the planet with the death star. I think its a pretty cool feature.
