Partially, E tuning AKA Avestapol or Vastapol if you are from the south has been around as long as I can remember. The Guitar is tune in a E Chord (EBEG#BE). But I started dropping the E to an F# in order to play a certain chord formation. This enables the B string to have 5th on the sixth string. This make my tuning F#BEG#BE.

Thank you. Generally once I learn a song , I add my own favor to it instead of trying to duplicate what the Artist is already playing. Plus since I'm in Vestapol tuning, I can make it sound as if two Guitars are playing. Thanks again. I really enjoy you channel. It remind when I started taking lesson back in 1969. BTW, The only reason my playing looks easy is because I was gifted with freakishly long double-Jointed fingers. There a Guitar maker in SC that thinking of having them design a Custom Guitar with a wider neck. I'm starting to get hand a finger cramps with the skinny neck Guitars. @@Luckystop220 No, I've been using E tuning since 1972. I switched to standard tuning for two years back in 1979 to 80. But could get the double guitar effect I liked. So I went back to E tuning ,But dropped my lower E to an F#. Thanks for your comment.
