Just one thought, with all this time they had, and money... Why they don't deliver. Beeing constantly in development, and charging for alpha keys... I mean, people can take a hook one, two times. Controller fired projectiles need to have a bigger hit box with no target locking. The magnetism is fine. Not sure if that's possible in New world, but that's the best way to balance it

Ok. So Im gonna write down this last time. 99% of the players can't really pvp. They meet a good player and they are gone. The aim lock for me was horrible. I aim better. Which means that good players not gonna use it either. If they use it, then they simply going to be worse than they were. (And it's still just a 1v1, in 1vx it is straight up horrible.) For that 99%, it helps but won't make them better. They will fight better against each other, they will hit each other more often. A good player isn't going to stand and walk right in front of you. There's a reason why I can engage in a fight down to 3k health in 1v3. And that doesn't change because it doesn't make me or a good player play differently. We will not get hit more often by you. So if all of you, that 99% going to enjoy the game more because you'll kill more, do more dmg, etc and you'll have more fun, it doesn't bother me. And when it comes to me facing you, I'll always win, just as I do now. I play on live, I'm known on EU and NA, I played on beta to see what's up and what I wrote above is how it is. Truly.. I really really don't mind if those other 36-38 players in opr going to have more fun because they will land more hits, do more dmg, have more kills. For that 2-4 per opr, it doesn't matter, because we will not use it because it makes us worse, we would have less control on our aim, you need better aim that the game gives you and it's all good (in my opinion). Btw, can't wait to farm ppl in the new area. Gonna be awesome! WITHOUT aimlock :)

They need to make it where if you dodge roll it takes off aim assist and makes you miss if shot while its on. But you almost have to have aimlock with controller. Game needs to feel like you can attck with confidence and not floaty or this game is dead regardless

Playing the Beta I quickly realised this wouldn't be fair to PC players, but Controller would still need fairly strong Aim Assist (not aimbot) we just can't pin point our shots like a mouse can, I use both in games, the difference is crazy especially for average gamers like myself, tracking a good moving player with a controller would be hard and not very fun, I stopped using it on the last day and combat was a lot more fun but I would miss a good amount of shots, with practice that would improve for sure but it would be a disadvantage, do you trust them to balance it right, not many games have got it right.

The problem is that at its Core, when we dont count grafik and sound design, the action combat let nw stay on top of every other mmo. With the aim Lock or better aim bot new world will losse this outstanding point and it will simply be a bad mmo when looking at the mmo market

Off topic, but I bought and played the game last year and it didn't really click with me, but this video's pvp footage looked pretty fun. If i leveled from 0, roughly how long would you say it would take to be able to get to this type of content?

The Yaksha spikes moveset was pretty easy for me. I literally not once even got hit by those. All you have to do is dodge backwards as soon as possible.

Non-able turns into very-able then turned you dis-abled.

It helps if you don't panic dodge.

Use the pillar stance to dodge the Yaksha kings ground attacks, and some of his combo attacks. Lightning hurts him a lot😘 I got him my first try switching from pillar and thrust. YK attacks are kinda like kratos’s so if you know how he attacks then it should be a bit easier to read YK.
