I don’t understand how to actually “trim”. Is there a button I need to bind? Or is there a particle default I need to push to actually set trim? I can’t figure this out.

I'd love to see you do more DCS comm's videos (non-gci), its the one thing that has me not joining multiplayer... i've seen a few videos where you talk about it a bit and theres one huey video, but i'd love to see more of that, multiplayer (when you watch enough videos) feels really intimidating just because of the comms side. I feel like i know the planes i want to fly well enough, but saying the right thing at the right time... mostly just about the airport side of things... i.e. what to say when you join, all the thigns you should say until you're in the air and then what to say to come back in

Great video I have the H160 which I think the auto pilot features are the same as the h145 my question is, I would love to do ILS flight in the H160 is it possible to show how to create the flight plan and ILS and does the helicopter land automatically for the ils flight plan? Thanks. I also purchased a collective the shark A60 not sure how to bind the collective and throttle in Microsoft flight simulator

3 years later.... thanks, I am thinking of getting the F18 in the current sale, having been flying the Harrier. That's getting broken now and no support it's a dead module sadly. I only want to buy the module that I'm going to learn and fly properly, until the Tornado comes along, I think the F-18 will be that one.

A “which warbird is best” video with only 3 of the 8 available planes looked at due to limited knowledge… so you have no idea which is best… The scoring system baffles the mind and your final advice is so niche that most people with no idea who follow the advice will be disappointed. How do you get such a perfect recording from VR? On my monitor I only see what I would see through a single lens and its not perfectly fitted to the monitor resolution

I think the f18 teaches the universal language of modern jets so after you learn the f-18 hoppin in other modules shaves off hours of youtube tutorial videos

Both is good. I use VR for multiplayer but if I’m making a video I use my head tracking. I use Open Track coupled with AI Track face tracking and a web cam. There’s no interference with room lighting like track IR, more budget friendly than Track IR.

For helicopters the Mi 8 definitely, I learned everything on that thing and it's very forgiving to fly and hover

real world tactics for the gauntlet would be it would move from one place to another considering it is designed for launch and move capabilities so u could get fucked if it moved for the initial place u knew to another and u popped up and it could be a bad day for ya

It is worth noting that now (August 16th, 2024) you cannot change the LGB codes in the air. While you can use the UFC to input a "new code", this doesn't actually change the code of the bombs. If you want to have different codes, they need to be changed on the ground.

If you like to build a physical cockpit -> Headtracking. If you like immersion and have a pc with good specs -> VR An advantage of headtracking is that you can do it with a phone using opentrack and FreePIE IMU. It uses the phone's gyros and magnetometer, so no image tracking is required. It works pretty well.
