I actively disliked this video when it came out and never watched it... Thought it looked ridiculous. Never got into DI after years later, around their reunion. What a fool I was. Despised Icon slays!!

Despised Icon never cared about keeping up with fashion trends, or making the right moves, or sounding like anybody else. And in doing so, they managed to become one of the most unique, and instantly recognizable bands. No band sounds like Despised Icon, and no band tries to sound like Despised Icon, because they know they will fail.

Metal elitists are the most annoying retards. I like old death too, but genre blending is how extreme music stays alive and fresh. When evolution takes place, pointing your nose up at new material makes you look like outdated ape. Idk about you, but I’d rather not have metal die in the stone age.
