I understand why these questions are illegal to ask. It's because having this knowledge could lead to discrimination of these protective classes. So if an applicant volunteers this information, couldn't that be considered a liability? Even if that information wasn't recorded or written down? If so, wouldn't that candidate be considered a higher risk than one who doesn't reveal that information?

CSR is tied to employee engagement, DEI, employee retention and volunteer activities. These are all things that HR generally oversees. CSR is linked to employees staying employed at their organization and employee retention is an important metric that we measure working in HR.

40 to 60 hours in total? I've been in the process of making a career transition into the field of HR (I'm working as a senior paralegal for an IP law firm. I don't really have any prior work experience or educational credentials pertaining to HR). So far, I've taken a few HRCI online courses on the basics of HR in general (three courses). It would not necessarily take me more than three months to pass the test. Can you recommend some studying material as well?

I don't understand these? One has accomplished historic peace deals in the Middle East and had relative world peace. The other has been in office for 50 years and actively worked against civil rights, wrote and signed bills that people too this day are saying disproportionately targets blacks and has a history of being racist.

It's interesting that a hiring manager can't see a natural connection there, LOL. I would be happy to hand someone an old-fashioned paper resume if they would actually read it. It would be great to leave the technology out of it on both sides.

@@WORKOLOGYthank you for responding. I am in a situation. I have scoliosis and degenerative disc disease. I work as a contract worker healthcare worker as Neuromonitoring technologist where I go to different hospitals depending on the day. I am only given a stool to sit on but I really need a chair. Some places are very mean to me and do not provide me with a chair even tho I have a ADA letter for a stool. Some places also harass me. My actual company won’t provide me with one since I work offsite and not in the office. I will change the law to include hospital contract workers in the ADA to be covered by the actual roofs they work under. I am in Texas and am bringing awareness to this. George Bush Jr. and Greg Abbot both support the ADA and I have the attention of them. I will stop at nothing to change this. This has only just begun. Why the unnecessary pain and suffering?
