lol is anyone else randomly having this recommended? anyway, what up addie real estate is a tough profession to break into. you seem like you have the chops for it based on 3 minutes and 31 seconds of knowing about your existence. any questions on the business side of real estate i can offer some insight.

Feel free to give insight! I am very open minded and love hearing what others have to say, especially if they have more life experience.

@@addiethelen7971 Yeah I am wrapping up my university in taxation and accounting. Real estate is a big thing there, as you can probably already know. Property taxation can have their own teams and departments in some firms. Do you have any starting capital? Do you have any contacts in the industry? I would focus first on that, if not. College is also recommended, if not for the education then for the opportunities to place yourself "in the room where it happens", so to speak. You will meet a lot of people in college and it provides prime grounds to network.

@@addiethelen7971 I am rewriting this, apparently my last comment did not post. I am just wrapping up my degree in taxation and accounting. Real estate is heavily involved with taxation, as I am sure you can imagine. Property tax can have their own teams and departments at some firms. I have worked in some internships where real estate investing has been a core component of tax strategy. Real estate can be lucrative, but only if you are smart about it all. As for college, I would say stick with it. You need not only a good general business education, but also the networking opportunities college provides. And hey, college can be fun too. I notice you are in school in Florida. It is a good state for real estate, so you made a good call there. I am Chicago based, and I would say do not be afraid to leave the home state should the chance arise.

Most kids in high school don't know what they want to do but you have a plan. It's smart to try working as a realtor before pursuing a college degree.

I have always been very intentional, and I believe it’ll pay off. I appreciate the compliment!

When you were in 8th Grade, they already had "youtube influencers"? You must be very young, lol.

@@addiethelen7971 Excellent! Some of these "influencers" are worth watching and listening to 🙂.
@goodheavenstomurgatroid2186Ай бұрын
I'm glad you're only doing this for fun. Before becoming an all-out an influencer, I'm sure it would be helpful to increase your life experience and knowledge base. Have you ever considered becoming a Catholic nun? I think as a nun, you could become a world-class influencer and in ways the world needs influence the most. Plus, increasingly these days, nuns are not in great supply, and some orders are being actively oppressed by men in high places. I think you could do much worse than to become a sister of some description. Perhaps you should look into it as a project for a paper you could write for college. Now there's a truly useless endeavor, college. It used to be worth something when only 20% of people had a degree, but now universities are just indoctrination centers. I mean, you might as well become a nun and get some true doctrine. At least then you wouldn't have to unlearn what you're now paying so much money for. I don't think college will make you happy, and happiness is what you were created for ultimately. If you later decided nun-dom wasn't for you, you could always leave before taking your final vows. There would be no recriminations. No one would call you a racist or a homophobe. At least, you'd learn some important things and grow in your sense of who you are. I think this is a great problem: people go through life not having a clue who they are. If they go to college, they'll be told who they are, but it won't be true, and this will make their life much harder than it had to be. But if you insist on going to college, and it doesn't sound like you're insisting, why not investigate Ave Maria University. At least there you'd get a real liberal arts education so that when you tried to sell expensive houses to people, they'd know they were dealing with a person with some serious gravitas. With an education like that, every door will be open to you. Full disclosure: I do not work for Ave Maria University. I've never been there. I graduated from the Braniff School of Liberal Arts at the University of Dallas, clearly not in Florida, but Ave Maria University is: 5050 Ave Maria Blvd, Ave Maria, FL 34142. Ok, that's what I've got for you today: Nun-dom and/or a truly Catholic education. If you opt for either, you will NEVER regret it. My take. My hope for you, and for the world you're going to make better. But one day, week, year at a time. Best of luck to you, and may the good Lord and His/our Blessed Mother guide you on your journey. Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us!

Check out Clark Howard. "Save more, spend less, and don't be taken advantage of". Different from Ramsey, but outstanding for personal finance wisdom.

JFC, this is so fucking boring, uninteresting and cringe to listen to, I've just scheduled surgery to have my ears sewn shut. For the sake of the sanity of yourself and the handful of accidental viewers you have... please just focus on being a good mom to your kids, and leave it at that.

IDK if you’re seeking advice but here are my thoughts after listening to you. I’d stay in college if you think you have the discipline to do it. It will be stressful but it will be an amazing life experience you’ll never get to reproduce and you’ll look back at with fond memories. You’ll never get that with a job. You can always take a light load, less than 15 hours, and work part time as a real estate agent. Lastly, since you know you’re interested in sales that gives you a direction, likely business school.
