Wait 13 miles? So you did make a wrong turn somewhere right because isn’t it supposed to be just under 9 miles? Now I’m scared I’m doing this hike in September and I’m severely out of shape myself lol 😅

@zakandblue 28 күн бұрын
I hiked all around the lake and a little farther. I also did a couple little spur trails on the way up. I would say that you will probably do around 10 miles roundtrip if you just hike to the lake and back. It is a hard hike, but if you take plenty of water, you will be fine. Don't rush. Enjoy the scenery. September is a great time to see this beautiful place in person! Good Luck!!!

@@zakandblue Yes thank you, a very nice video. Lake 22 i've always wanted to hike, but I live in Oregon so it is quite a distance for me to come. The forest service does not do a good job on trail conditions as the baker/snoqualmie web site shows lake 22 as being closed
@zakandblue

@@danielmoung9098 Thanks so much. Lake 22 just closed a couple days ago. I was lucky enough to get in before it was closed. They are doing repairs to the trail. There were definitely some mudslide areas and some downed trees. Thanks for watching!!!

If you had asked me, I would have gone down to the Pike Place Market about 7:00 AM. Everyday, the outdoor vendors (called the Day Stalls because they rent their stalls each day) line up and get their stalls assigned. In other words, the Market is literally different each day. They ring a bell and all the vendors line up (it is also based on seniority). Then they go to their on-site storage or their trucks and bring out their merchandise. They set up their wares. It is cool to watch them at work. (Also good to note: Kerry Park was donated by the family--it was the site of the family home. Four or five blocks down Highland St W is the Parsons Gardens. It was not part of a parsonage; the family that lived next door--the house is still there--donated the park. You can actually rent the park for weddings; some summer days there are as many as three weddings in a day!)
