Suikoden 5 is like the 3rd best game for that series. The order goes.. 2nd, 1st, 5th, 3rd and 4th as far as gameplay. That being said, suikoden 2 is a top 7 game on many lists.

Nine Sols is not an RPG, its a metroidvania. Most of these are also survival games.

Ghost of tsushima is not an arpg, there arent any rpg elements in it. Its an action adventure game only.

There's no real class system, no character customization, no real viable builds besides stealth and combat based, the charms system is the closest thing the game has to build variety and that's as barebones as, "minor/moderate/major reduction of incoming damage" and "minor/moderate/major increase to attack damage." That's about as barebones as it gets. There's more RPG elements in even rdr2 than Ghost. Ik I'm making it a big deal and mb but it's clickbaity to put "top 15 action rpg games" then have the number one spot not even be an rpg.

God of War isnot An Open World RPG. Its basicly a Semi open world RPG. And What a huge Lack you didnt mention about Red dead redeemtion 2, i think that was a very bold symbol of open world RPG game of decade. But thanks alot for bringing this post. Iam a true fan of open world RPG game.

@@JoelRPG But Stellar blade took full advantage of the PS5 yet Shift up is not a triple A company. I know it isn't turn based, but there really is no excuse. Companies are making bad games on purpose. I am sick of being forced to feel like I will be living in the 80s forever.

@NoctisCloudLight I get what you say but you are not thinking that graphics is not all that matters for jrpgs, and make a good story, worlbuilding and in general good dialogues is something expensive too if is well done. Creators of stellar blade aknowlegde this and say the history is totally in second plane for that graphics and the gameplay. I love to see good graphics too in jrpgs but i get is not that important.

You know, 77% of these Metroidvanias never made it to PS4, which I never know why is beyond me. Now I understand why 77% of these Metroidvanias never made it to the PS4. How come most consoles get these but not the other ones ? Like Haiku the Robot for example, this game was supposed to be on the PS4 as well as other consoles, but instead they put it on Steam and Switch systems. Might as well put them all on PS4.😡

I try not to play Lilie 2 cuz ik it lacks contents atm This Studio did the same thing for their previous game too. I'd rather play the full game in one go instead of playing tiny part of it and wait for 1 year for full release.
