Because the bacteria only grows when there is something present (such as protein)... Think of it like garbage attracts flies.

Did you know there are artificial flavors in a lot of foods being sold, too ? I used to be sensitive to artificial smells but I found that increasing my gut health, and changing what I ate, reduced the sensitivity to artificial smells,as well as now prevents sinus issues I used to have and would mistakenly blame on "allergies". Of course in the end , nothing artificial is always best.

I buy my bon ami at Walmart. The z bio is a special commercial product that I purchase in bulk through the manufacturer.

Thanks and I know this will work. I sharpen blades/tools I understand effects of different grits. However if you puke at site of these...no so effective. Try coke/CLR/vinegar. Note CLR does stink like dead corpse unfortunately; not to deter you. CLR does work well though.
