Ryan Hawley has a great way of drawing the audience into Robert Sugden. Mostly, Ryan displayed lots of ways to make Robert feel all sorts of feelings. You can tell by Robert's tearful eyes that although he wants to be with Aaron again, he perceives in his heart, he can't, not in the way he wanted.

Robert does not want Aaron to get back with the wrong person; he knows himself what he has done and he can't take them back but, Aaron deciding to be with him, got him shocked as in don't have any words to say to Aaron. If Aaron kisses Robert, he knows in his mind that he will want to follow the movement and kiss him back however, Robert is not what he is originally; Robert is full of emotions and he felt more emotionally upset than Aaron (he is more emotional than Aaron). Robert can't let himself to fall for Aaron again when he know he will cause more pain for Aaron than the pain Aaron felt before-> that is why Robert rapidly declined Aaron's kiss, stood up and was about to leave the garage before Aaron dragged him back and begged Rob to tell him the reason why.

The way Robert cupped Aaron's face, implies his love and affection but, he did it in order to let Aaron see why he did what he did. What I love the most, is that Aaron did not give up and went to Victoria's house to talk to Robert, give him a long speech through tears about how he knows Rob has changed, his actions and ending it begging Rob to let Aaron himself, help Robert overcome his difficulties/challenges. Eventually, Robert accepted Aaron and embrace in a loving hug before heading back home together, with them two holding hands. I also love the part of the scene where Liv was going after Rob with a frying pan.

This scene is so emotional/upsetting since Aaron really want Robert but, Robert thinks he is going to hurt Aaron again and cause him more pain than before. Both Aaron and Robert are feeling the same emotion although for different reasons; Aaron is upset because he was trying so hard to get Robert back and Robert is upset because he feels like he does not deserve Aaron. Robert was the only one whose voice was breaking when he was telling Aaron his true feelings from deep inside. I understand why Robert left Aaron alone in the garage where they had their unofficial wedding (the disaster of Faith being arrested) because he only blames himself and although Aaron had left him for someone else (Alex), Robert accepts what they had and continue that forward when Aaron break the news he and Alex broke up.

Aaron is lying at this point, I think he will be worried, scared and mostly frightened that Robert might find someone which is true; Rob did find someone (was forced to by Vanessa) but when he saw Aaron standing there, he was really surprised because he wanted to stay away from him as far as possible. He then immediately left to go outside and not doubtingly, Aaron followed.

I don't think it was a mistake, I think Aaron was going to kiss Robert but, the doorbell rang before he made a move. When Robert heard it was Alex's voice, he quickly left since he know that they are right for each other however, Aaron is stubborn as he cannot make his mind up on who to be with. He was hesitant when he thinks Alex should stay over at his house due to the hospital incident; it was almost as if he wished Robert was there to guide him through.

How does Aaron know what Robert like and don't like? They are not together anymore so, Aaron does not need to be worrying about him. I think in this scene, Aaron is a bit selfish; he wants to move on with his life (meeting Alex) and did not even know how hard it was for Robert to finally let him go. Robert knows he needs to give Aaron some space so, decided to try and keep his distance from him even though Emmerdale is a small village and keeping away from each other might be a slight hard thing to do since they will always bump into one another. Anyway, Aaron needs to understand that Robert has been feeling down, not himself and accepting that Alex is right for Aaron was the last thing he know he had to stay away. The only reason Aaron followed Robert to the gay bar was because he was worried that Robert might find someone else.

Did Freddie ever have any scenes with Ben after he returned to Walford? Mainly curious after what happened back in 2006 when Ben unintentionally hit Freddie when he was still a baby for grabbing his hearing aid. And then things got a bit out of hand between Little Mo and the Mitchells which led to Little Mo leaving with Freddie.

I'm curious what mindset Little Mo would be in if she ever returned now. Especially given how she left in 2006 after falling out with the Mitchells over the Ben and Freddie incident. Wonder if Phil would still give her a hard time over that even though Freddie's been back in Walford a couple years now.

Robert wants to get back with Aaron but, he does not want to hurt Aaron again and he thinks he might do the same thing again if they are back together. That is why Robert looked shocked when Aaron confessed he want to be back with him and that is also why Robert rejected the kiss Aaron was about to give, explaining that even though he does deserve Aaron leaving for everything he has done during the last couple of days, Aaron still left him; he did not even have a sit-down with Robert to calmly talk over what happened between. The way Robert hold Aaron's cheek and looking into his eyes, implies he has definitely has feelings for Aaron-the same feelings as before however, he know himself, he is the guilty one and does not want Aaron to stay with someone who had done all the wrong things.
