True....I couldn't c the dance of aurora....only white patches....so the reality is very different from what one expects...one has to b very lucky to c the dance of aurora....

@JanJelle10 күн бұрын
Vooral mensen in Oostenrijk komen hier.

I can confirm. I saw the Aurora in Lapland as it was stage 1.7, looked like a cloud at first. But pointing it with the phone its sensor made me see things that naked eye cannot

I’ve never seen the northern lights but from what I’ve read about them in the last few months, it sounds like they only rarely look like the pictures you see. Everyone says to look through your phone or camera in order to see them better. Well, I don’t want to do that - I want to see them with the naked eye. I’m disappointed to learn that they probably won’t live up to my expectations.

Hi we r from Massachusetts U.S.A. I want to THANK YOU for making this video. Since we have been able to see the lights in October we have been taking pics and seeing faint results in pur pictures. With you braking it up into stages , this helps alot it matches the pics we have. The cloud that goes strait up in stage one we have it in a picture. Hundreds doubt us but now your video is proof we have been seeing them. Thank you so much

@JanJelle2 ай бұрын

You do not need to be up north! Is very untrue! You need clear sky and cold! I lived on the island Gotland that is along mid-southern Sweden three hour ship trip out in the Baltic Sea abd that is Not dar up in the north but is crystal clear and cold skies there in the Winter and we saw Northern Lights and it was amazing when it began as it truly looked like a god opened up a huge gate to another dimension like Thor opened up the gate to Valhalla and it stayed for many hours and spread like a light show over the sky! I love my country and we know our nature and culture well!

I live in northern Alberta in Canada - we had two huge displays of it this week. The photos we got were just like we saw with our eyes it was that bright. And 10 seconds is too long for the exposure - if you want to get nice streaks keep it between 3-6 seconds max.

We can perfectly see with our naked eyes and i have witnessed it on 11 October 2024, in canada… till that time i was believed that through camara eyes we can only view northern lights but No…. We can see the amazing sky with naked eyes but just for 1 2 minutes that’s it then everything will fade… but that 1 2 minutes we feel like it’s not real…. Believe me it’s amazing than we think.. we have to experience at least once in our life time for that a small duration of high auroras….. we feels like we can die after that because so much worthy. Because fulfillment is more than words..

Having just experienced this in London, this video is spot on and helpful. At 8pm yesterday I was only able to see very weak patches of red with my eye, but was capturing a moderate aurora with my phone camera. But at 10pm, I was amazed to go outside and clearly see a pinkish/red aurora in the sky with fainter green around it. That was a life experience and to have experienced it from my own back garden without freezing myself in the arctic was cool.
