Love how he came out, as well as knowing that Jada is going full on with the unique sculpting, Ryu and ken so soon was unexciting, but Bison and Dhalsim really show that Jada toys is capable of, love it! Cant wait to see your review too!

we need more faceplates! i doubt well get a face pack like some of the other shows do ,but man it would be great.

I had a chance to get about half of the Sota versions a while ago, but by then they were already rare, and i knew i wasn't going to get a good roster going on. Storm Collectibles is pretty pricy if intending to get the whole collection, Jada Toys has done a great job on size and price point, i might collect them all, or at least most!

Those skulls are supposed to represent children's skulls, specifically those who died in his village, i guess as a "never forget" type of deal. But yes! i have had the HARDEST time finding these guys, so much that people were reviewing this figure months in advance from the online retailers "street date". I ended up buying them from BBTS, as they have them for retail, and i was tired of going to every local Target store here. As for Dhalsim being a baddie, Yeah, i got that a lot from when i was a kid as well, no one really played Dhalsim at the arcade to really know his ending, a fire breathing skull wearing zombie? (his weird alt colors) yeah he's with Bison!

At the time almost all of these figures were only available on the official Japanese site, or if you lived in Japan for the deluxe version! I got mine directly from Japan but I know that’s not a option for a lot of collectors!

Yes! it still holds up very well, and the MK11 Spawn is one of the best sculpts!

Have you tried running the joint under very hot water? usually that loosens them up, might be some paint stuck in there as well. Although there aren't many poses you can get into with the Doom Guy, he poses like a brick, but still, running him under hot water usually fixes tight squeaky joints! good luck!

i dont have the Half-Giant specifically, but i do have Ogre-scale figures, and no the heads are not swappable with 1.0 heads.

Yeah unfortunately they both have the same artwork for the backdrops, the only thing that differs is the back of the boxes artwork that hold the figures, Bastet with a image of her altar in cat form, and Anubis with a glowing pyramid.

I cant find the source, i must have been in one of their live videos, but they will be releasing singles versions of these figures, who knows when, i would assume during the next all-stars wave.

@@Glasseater Oh nice, thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna be more on the lookout. Seems BBTS doesn't stock all of their releases and that's typically where I look.

Really love the texture detail on all of the sculpting, goes such a long way in photos, and makes the figure look that much better even without a paint wash or drybrush.

Yeah, they are pretty pricy, but at least you can confidently say your getting the quality with what you pay for. Right now those 30 Dollar Hasbro toys aren't hitting.

its true, it probably from the fact that Mythic Legions have a lot of inspiration off of the classic He-Man figures, i feel like they have been getting better at adjusting the size, but they have already locked in a style for these figures. Still though, the fantasy aspect of the figures, gives it a little bit of leeway, especially on the helmeted figures and other races.

I'm surprised they are reusing a named characters face, usually they are a bit defensive about that, but it was probably too good not to reuse, as it was a fan favorite. I'm deciding what i want to get right now, the goblin pack is a must have, its a shame that you'll need 2 to display them all. The golden skeleton is hilarious, its much better then the original! I hear you on that tax and shipping, its not as bad in the US, but wish they could get a better deal on shipping prices!

@@Glasseater yeah this face sculpt is cute, & I seen her in cosmic legions too. I’m hoping to see thraice & the CL’s version on sale this Christmas. Either way I’m getting em eventually because I’m a fan of this sculpt and I’m stoked for some goblins. Looking forward to those reviews! Meanwhile I like to rewatch old reviews

Hopefully the netflix show kicks up some more figures in this price and scale, its a shame that McFarlane only released statues.

NECA TF2 figures usually had either problem, the joints were stuck cause of the temperature, or paint would dry into the joints. It sounds like if hot water isn't immediately loosening up the joint, then you might have paint that has dried up there. Unfortunately there's not much you can do without risking breaking such a old figure. I would try to use even more hotter water, with the chance of it penetrating the joint, and loosening up the paint, but its going to be tricky, good luck!

@@Okie_Ukie I’ve personally never measured the temperature of the water I use but definitely hot enough where it hurts to touch it lol. And then just give it the slowest slightest bends in the joints to try to unstuck the paint
