Beware of the cheap Chinese Par lamps with dip switches. Many have the dip switch wired in reverse , so a set is a clear (0 instead of 1)

I have a question I have obey70 I wanna to control adj profile plus 64 for up lighting (24) and (6)adj focus spots (6) adj pocket scans but I want them going on different times how would I do that?

Thank you sir!!! Now can you or anyone one confirm this. I know your last fixture was a LED bar which had no dip switches. All my fixtures do not have any dip switches but it shouldn’t matter correct?? As Long as I follow the formula he has on here and use it on my digital address display correct? Any feed back will be much appreciated.

That is correct, add the corresponding channel number to all your fixtures in the correct sequence and that's it..you're ready to go 😉

@@howtodostuff1244 a friend of mine had a kids academy show to do and I had just today to learn how to operate lights. I typed in the obey 40 (as this is what I was given to use and the whole switch thing was driving driving me crazy). A few videos came up and they were ok but I just hadn't made that leap with them. I was nearly giving up and thought let me take one more look down the list of videos. Your video instantly opened up my mind and saved my bacon. I'll definitely look through some more of your stuff. Thanks.

What if I’m using avo lights tiger touch pro that has 4 universes and a unlimited amount of Chanel’s. Just purchased some fixtures with dip switch and can’t find a way to program.

DJ JayDee ...yes you still have to consider the amount of DMX channels the controller has to calculate the address regardless if your light has more or less channels than the controller

Thanks, you answered a lot of my questions such as how DMX addresses are calculated (based off the controller) and if slave units need to be the same fixture such as two of the same lights (which they don't)!
