can you imagine if the jam that goes from 3:30-4:26 was longer? If it kept going for another couple minutes, kept building on itself? It would've sounded even better than the studio version. This song is great but it feels like it's falling just short of its true potential

In Graham's book he says the song was inspired by a heckle at an early Blur gig. The gig was at the Duchess of York in Leeds in November 1990. I was at the gig 👍.
