Just did not see what is inside, every shot timed less than a second. So even though i may well know what I’d expect, i can’t say that i witnessed it.

Not really. It’s not the same thing. Pulling sales yes but design, termination etc should be left to people who know what they are doing. I’m an electrician and we also do cctv, wifi and networking. From blocks of flats to hotels etc. most electricians don’t know or understand even the basics.

Maybe the government should provide more funding for apprenticeships 18+ so companies don't reject adult learners because the company have to pay for it all not government.

That's how I find all the zip ties cut at 45°. In the dark... with my forearm usually. I think it should be included on the bag. To use flush cut nippers to cut zip ties nice and flush. Even leaving ties cut at other angles can be painful. Details matter people.

UK has the best plug design in the world. It cannot be improved.

Interesting that in the UK most electrical fires are caused by faulty electrical installations. Here in Germany they are mostly caused by misuse of electrical appliances, like covered up ventilation openings, power strips hidden behind cupboards and covered in layers of dust, dirt or both, to name a few examples. The wiring itself usually does not cause issues, even if decades old.

I cant say I’ve ever seen flatform cable used in this type of application other than a catenary system for cranes and low bay machine traverses.

I don't know why I let it but that knife really annoys me when I see it in videos. Nobody's buying that piece of garbage what a waste of money 😂 but if they send it me for free like you I suppose I will use it 😁

It might feel secure puncturing flat cord puncturing with clamps socket but as of in 2024 most of the nations all over world has 100years of experience and might reject this as safety concern
@gadgetman368 сағат бұрын
It doesn't include everything though. They don't even include a grommet if you're doing rear entry. The mounting bolts have no rubber washers so not a great seal. The cover can be difficult to get on, and the cover screws can be an issue. It isn't compatible with many EV tariffs. I've already seen a real life installation of this by a real electrician (SOTA Electrical) and it isn't as easy as you're making out.
@effervescence56646 сағат бұрын
I watched SOTA install it too and as nice as it is to see Efixx showcasing new products to highlight for electricians this EV point really isn't fit for market.

Hello, Can the load be wired back into the home consumer board so when there is a power cut this will power the whole home and not just the double socket its wired to like on this setup? as you can imagine if this isnt possible then during a power cut there will be no lighting or other power throughout the whole home except what is plugged into the double socket

Not improved when you take away the earth/neutral wire. Sure not all appliances/devices use it, but it is there for a reason.
