Great project! The demo was pretty dope. Your presentation skills are excellent too.

What inspired you to create something like this i want to make a game but i have no clue where to start

What inspired me is better explained in my Devlog 1 video for this, but I’ve seen bodycam games like Unrecord and Deppart (leaning more towards Deppart for this game) and wanted to make my own bodycam horror VHS-ish experience In terms of where to start, my advice is to have at least a small bit of knowledge about coding concepts, although it’s not necessary if you go about it like I did (knowing how to code and understanding the languages is extremely useful as well, but if you just know some basic concepts that’s okay as well.) Another bit of advice: if you have programming knowledge or not, tutorial videos on KZbin are where I began to learn how to use both Unreal Engine and Unity. I started out with Unity, and Brackeys is a great KZbin tutorial channel for Unity related projects, and currently I’m using Unreal Engine tutorial videos made by Eremental Studios and Matt Aspland (more so Matt Aspland as he has years of tutorial videos over Unreal Engine posted on his KZbin page), as they both have good tutorial videos to reference. Last bit of advice: work on small projects to start out with. Nothing too ambitious, and nothing that will take too long to make. If you’re starting out, know that there’s a lot of components to a video game, and it’ll take time. I’ve done this many times where I try to create something that’s way out of my league to make and I either lose interest or don’t see it through. You don’t wanna feel like you’re stuck on one project because it’s too big for one person or too ambitious, so small projects for now to build up your experience and knowledge, then when you feel ready to tackle your magnum opus of a game, go for it
